Have you heard of someone who sit infront of their computer for 3 years to decide what way they should take online to make money?

or better.. had 20 custom themes for a blog and paid freelancers tons of money to have the best outloook possible for a website but still could not be satisfied?

..finally, have you heard of anyone who always looks for the BIG SHINNY BUTTON saying here is the MAGIC PILL to make you money online?

I am only writing this thread here because I am frustrated to read posts that only asks for shortcuts on making money online.

I am sorry but there is no shortcuts and you are only wasting your money and time if you are waiting for one.

If you are new to this. Here is all you need to do.

Choose one Internet Marketing method, such as Affiliate MArketing, Selling A Digital Product, fiverr.com or similar and commit all your time on this.

Do absolutely everything you can to make it work.

Do not get distracted with MAGIC PILLS!

Internet Marketing success only happend when you stop learning and start doing.

  • I have a friend that literally has a different game plan every two days. The thing is, they are all good ideas and would probably work ... if implemented :-)

People ask for shortcuts because someone, somewhere told them that making money online is far easier and quicker than anything else out there. It's obviously not true, but there are millions of products which make this claim. So no wonder, everyone is seeking shortcuts.

After some time you will come to one conclusion: you have to create a business that provides value for other people.

Each so called "method" is just a channel of reaching people. The only reason why "methods" are being marketed is because people want to believe there is a "method".

The truth is, if you want to make maximum money you will have to combine various "methods" into a feasible and profitable business model. You may even have to come up with your own "methods".

But there is only one way to achieve that. At some point you have to ask yourself "What do I really want?". And then you have to figure out "What am I going to give in exchange for it?"

Or better still "What would people who bring me the money want?".

So if you offer a Fiverr gig figure out the best value you can create for $5. Then figure out how to leverage each transaction. For instance, I converted $5 customers into $100 - $200 per hour consulting clients.

If it's Adsense sites, consider providing real high quality content. As you go, start building a list that's attracted to that content and sell them higher quality, better priced products.

It's all about creating the maximum value and commitment. If you don't have a mindset for creating value there is no "method" that will work for you.

That's exactly what I mean.. I know several marketers who only have a few hundred people on their lists and purely on email marketing they bring money home. Just because they provide value for their readers.

Wisest thing I've read on the Warrior Forum this week.

Most people want to make money because they don't have enough, so their focus is on themselves and how to 'get' money.

The successful marketer is one who has a plan that works (usually because others have done it and succeeded already), and who then creates a business that helps and adds to the lives of people in their market.

And of course, consistent effort is the only way to achieve a business that works and lasts.

I am my own worst enemy - I am constantly writing down ideas and developing them. I narrow them down and then end up with more and more. I think it is important to stick to one thing that you believe in and work on it. Otherwise, weeks, months and even years can pass by where you're still playing with ideas.

Ha! I thought you were talking to me personally, LOL! That's pretty much exactly what I did for years. I got involved with internet marketing through desperation, looking for a quick way to make money. And it was only when I decided that this had to be a long term solid business that things started to change. And as it's been said many times before, I got a mentor and began following a step by step training system. Make a plan and start with one method of marketing until you see some results. Don't jump from one thing to another. Stick with it!

I always feel so sorry for newbies when I read about them being so confused because this one says this and that one says that. I heard from my business coach that if you have one business goal, you have a 95% chance of succeeding, whereas when you have two business goals you have a 70% chance of succeeding.

So, the more goals, the less success.

Information Overload is not a good thing at all. A person keeps jumping from one method to another. It is very hard to take action and stay determined with Information Overload.

Not what I was expecting based on the thread title at all. The OP is right in that you need to stick to one thing and actually implement. Don't see how that turned into "Information Overload is a Good Thing" though.

    Hi,

    There are shortcuts.

It doesn't make sense to learn things on your own through trial and errors. It is like re-inventing the wheel. That means taking a lot of time and costs to implement. Some mistakes can be very costly, including getting scammed.

By learning step-by-step techniques shown by experienced people, you're basically taking shortcuts. Cut down time and costs. Some WSO's are really good as a starting point.

Then of course, there are LOADS OF WSOs trying to show the same thing in different ways. Choose one with the best reviews and implement it.

Focus, consistent testing and monitoring results are important aspects of IM.
    Otherwise, don't waste time.

Sure, there are shortcuts. But newbies don't always know which ones to use. And often they gravitate to shortcuts like scraping, spinning, spamming and other black and grayhat stuff. And unfortunately, those shortcuts are the wrong answer because they don't work in the long or short term.

And then the newbie comes back here and creates a post that says: I did everything right and still failed.

And that's because he or she took the wrong shortcuts. Everyone screams about taking action but few care to even mention what the RIGHT action is. For example, buying 10,000+ backlink packages on fiverr is definitely the wrong action.

I say, learn the longhand method first and then go for the shortcuts, if they really exist at all.

I am no different, lol, each time my computer reboots I forget my ork history. Can't even recall what I was doing before the reboot.

I have my own eLibrary in my computer, filled 1000 of ebooks and video trainers. And just to kill the confusion, I pick the one I feel familiar with.

I have never took action on those courses except two 1. fiver marketing 2. youtube marketing -- They both went well and made me $362 & $641 (and still money is seeping through...)

I have a personal website for which I have a plan, 20+ themes, 100s of automation plugins but darn I just can't work on it Don't ask me why ): make me feel bad.

    Pray for me though,
