About To Sell 4 Sites On Flippa. Help?
Hey so I'm about to bundle up four sites to sell on Flippa. Can anyone who has previous experience selling a website via flippa and using escrow.com shed some light on how this works? Specifically, I have these questions.
1) I understand that Escrow.com is suppose to verify the transfer of ownership via Whois. However, what if the Whois was private? How would they verify?
2) How long does the whole process take? From the day the auction is done to the day the check is cut.
3) Would it be smart to set up milestone payments with the buyer? Is that something that is done often? Possibly release half the funds upon transfer of the domain and half the funds upon transfer of the actual site itself.
4) How many days should I let the buyer inspect?
5) Any other tips to offer so I don't get screwed over?
6) Are there often disagreements with the buyers and sellers? If so, how are they mitigated?
