What do you send to your list?

Every list owner has his own sending tactics. What do you do? Send emails every day or once a week? Mostly free offers or paid ones? Do you use adswaps, solo ads or JV's? Or maybe you make your own videos and reports to share with your list?

I try to send one thing each day, with one or two quiet days a week. I try to do a variety of adswaps and free information that I found on my own and think will be of value. I'm not a prolific report/video creator, so sometimes I struggle with finding this information, but I don't want to barrage my subscribers with adwaps only. Haven't broken into solo ads yet.

What ever your niche, send them valuable tips, how to's, share other peoples tips if they are talking about something new or hot and share it with them. Sure, give relevant products for free, but not everyday...it loses value.

Why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free?

Get your offers in there, tell them if they want to know more to check out this product.

I would not do Ad-Swaps everyday...sure you're building your list, but how do you like getting emails from the same person everyday?

Everything you need you can obtain at Resell-Rights-Weekly or Resell Enterprise or other great places that have great products.

You may have to pay for some products, so what. You buy a product for $5.00 and you sell it to 5 people you've made $20.00. I'm sure others will have great ideas of their own to share with you as well.

If you want to make money from your list, then you must build a cordial relationship between you and your subscribers.

Keep your promotional materials light, creative and original. Many people are stressed out as it is. Getting a stuffy business proposal rather than a light hearted e-mail may just agitate them more. A warm friendly smile or banter is always more welcome than a serious business meeting or proposal. While you do want your customers to take you and your products and services seriously, you also want to show them that you know how to have fun.

    This works for me.

Usually I mail them every 2 or 3 days.... That would be with free content (tips, blog posts etc.) At the moment I only email an offer out once a week at most. Trying to play around with that cos I want to get open rates as high possible you know. Before if I was sending offers out several times per week my open rates were abysmal so I'm working on that at the moment.

Whenever some sends me to a squeeze page from their list I opt out immediately. I despise that tactic but it works for some. The only way I buy from a list is if there is so much value sent to me that I think that the person is giving away a free product to help me solve my problem.
