Productive noob friendly traffic sources?
First of all, this is my first post (my last one got deleted ) and yes, i'm new to the IM business.
I wanted to ask a strait forward question in the hope that I will get a strait answer, even if the question is pretty stupid, as I'm sure it is to some of you. so here goes...
There are many different methods of driving traffic to your sites. But which methods do you think are most productive for a noob to follow through with. Perhaps you could list them from first (best), to last (worst).
My current thinking is as follows...
1. Buying a great aged domain with lots of traffic (expensive!)
2. Social Bookmarking/networking
3. Article blasting
4. Automated Directory Submissions
5. General SEO
6. Forum posting
7. Blog comments
8. answers.com and the like
(the reason I've put SEO "search" 5th is because i'm completely against one company (google) having the monopoly. It's pretty S*** when they can dictate everything on the net with just a flick of their algorithm. So I don't want to use googles rigged services, at least not as my main source.
No doubt I've missed some, I'd love to know your thoughts.
Cheers!
