Might I recommend video marketing?

You can make cheap articles and have people convert them to videos at Fiverr, then blast them to your info website or blog or even direct to your affiliate link.

Thanks for the suggestion, that site looks interesting. Have you done what your suggesting? were you happy with the results for the money?

So to summarize the process I think your suggesting to use:

1, setup an info blog on whatever niche i like
2, find affilate products relating to my niche
3, create daily/weekly fresh content targeting the products and get it converted into video at ffiverr
4, post video eveywhere.

that about the size of it?

Maybe I'm missing something, but is that really all you have to do? I mean, are you suggesting creating a blogger.com or wordpress hosted blog, and living of the traffic naturally created by your hosts position in search results and the like?

If so, have you actually had success doing this without pushing traffic from any other locations whatsoever?

Perhaps you could elaborate a bit more?

I'd love it to be that simple, though, I fear its a little too much to ask for.

It is that simple. It's called building a community, creating value, building a business. Pick a market you're really excited about and continue to add valuable content. Obviously, you want to choose wisely and not go with some mega market like dieting or health or fitness. Break it down to a niche within a larger market.

Write original articles. Go to article directories and find articles you can use while giving the author credit. Begin right away building a list by offering a valuable free report. Go to Youtube and find relevant videos and ask the creator if he or she would mind if you used them. Post on Blogs in your market and ask if those site owners would guest post on yours.

And no, don't go for some goofy free blogging platform. Get serious and get your own domain. You can use Wordpress and a nice theme but be sure you have your own domain if you want to be taken seriously.

As for SEO, use it but don't be a slave to it because you're business should be designed for people not bots and crawlers. Good luck.

Hey thanks Dan, Sometimes its the little things that inexperience misses which makes all the difference. Honestly, until Cataclysm mentioned it, I didn't think to covert anything. Makes a lot of sense though - use what you've got n all that. Will save me a bunch of effort.

You're right, it does all sound like a lot of work. thing is, I don't mind that at all as long as I know I'm headed in the right direction, which thanks to yours and everyone else's suggestions, means I am.

By the way, I've noticed in all your profiles that you have been thanked a certain number of times, am I able to do this for people that give me some thank-able advice?

I'm not sure I know what a solo ad is, may be soloadvertising . net. but only ezine? Hmm, I'll have to look into that further. I like the idea of instant feedback. there's no better way to learn quickly.

would you be able to reccomend a good reliabe PPC service, or 3?

A solo ad is basically an email ad that is about your stuff, and you pay someone which is the list owner to blast out your email to his list.

Then within a week, you will see the responds already, from the 1st day to around 5 days later.

You will know what is working and what is not.

For ppc, is just like adwords or adcentre[yahoo + bing]
But honestly from my perspective, Solo ads are cheaper.
But you must know how to choose the right list to market to .

See, in ppc, you will probably start spending alot 1st, like 0.30USD up to a dollar or more for each click.
THen you still need to optimize it.
Optimize your campaign to make sure you are targeting the right group of people thus what ever you pay for is worth paying for.

As for solo ads, the list owner already got through the trouble of finding all the leads, those people that are in his list are of the same interest group.
So by marketing to them base on their interest you already jump through lots of hoops and loops that otherwise a normal newbiee would have died b4 reaching here.

And take for example my solo ad, even it $127, i will say you will get roughly 1000 odd clicks. That is roughly 0.1 per click!
And its already targeted, optimized and focused on a niche interest group.

That is why the fastest way many people would say is do solo ads.
BUT, you must know how to choose.

Just like fruits, they can be good to eat, tasty, and healthy, but you must know how to choose those without worms inside. =)

Ha, its amazing the opportunities you overlook when your new to this stuff. People like you seem to have spent a long time working this stuff out, I'm very grateful for your advice.

My main aim at the moment is to make a small amount of money with a site and use that money to try out some paid for opportunities like yours. The reason being is that I have very limited funds, though hopefully that will change soon...

Solo ads sound great though. Especially as you get some instant feedback. But alas, my position currently forces me to put it on my to do list.

dont bother with the e-books and wso's that promise riches and loads of traffic easily.

its all nonsense/underhanded tricks that will do you more harm then good in the long term.

I get that feeling a lot. Every time I've been sucked into a "squeeze" page it just feels deceitful. There are some exceptions, but mainly It seems like a load of rubbish.

Great suggestions here already

In addition, you can always find Adwords coupons for $100 and give it a try - on the house. I set up campaigns using the Display Network ads, it's pretty cheap per click. This doesn't replace the other methods mentioned here, but gives some instant traffic which is useful for testing and maybe a few sales! Plus it's fun!

Im a newbie too and what ive done so far i learned here on warrior forum.

i never done articles or submitting articles on website , but i might give it a try soon.

ive done blog commenting , link exchange and a lot of social like twitter , facebook , stumbleupon , digg , reddit , chime.in , surfingbird , delicious etc .

they bring me about 2-3k visitors a day , but i only have the website for 1 month so i guess its ok for now .

curently im only ranking on first page on google with 1 low search keyword , brings me few visitors daily .

i guess thats about it , next thing for me is to do articles , videos and buliding blogs with content to target on my website

Yes using wordpress , blogger im going to do some pages and use social sites for them aswell , link betwen them and with my site , i will make something like a wheel i think its called .

There are programs that can drive traffic to your site that are quite inexpensive, but the key i think is building your fanpage for facebook that works best or your email list. But that's just my 2 cents, lol

(the reason I've put SEO "search" 5th is because i'm completely against one company (google) having the monopoly. It's pretty S*** when they can dictate everything on the net with just a flick of their algorithm. So I don't want to use googles rigged services, at least not as my main source.
No doubt I've missed some, I'd love to know your thoughts.

All you need to do is create blog

do some keyword research first for a market
write unique blog content upwards 2000 words every time
Make your primary keywords the pages on your blog
Then you create promotional content you can place as blog post with a keyword back to your primary keyword pages
create web 2.0 sites place unique content there
take the content re-purpose to place on slide share sites and tutorial sites
You can doing this you'll have a ton of traffic coming your way after 6 months
