Anyone an affiliate to a gambling network?

I just dropped AdSense on one of my sports sites due to non-performance. To replace it I signed up with as an affiliate to a gambling network which takes offers on sports betting and which gives you 30% of any profit made from any signups resulting from your clickthroughs.

I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with being such an affiliate, if it worked for you and any pointers you might have?

I have dabbled with a gambling type offer on Youtube as a little side project. It's for slot machines and the commissions I get are up and down every month. Some months it's in the thousands and some months it's below a hundred dollars. This is just a little fun project for me and not money I rely on so your situation may be a little different. All I can tell you is the commissions will probably vary quite a lot from month to month as they are based on what people spend and earn.

It is kind of fun though to login each week and see what commissions have earnt. It really could be anything. One day I could login and see $10 the next day I could login and see $10,000. My commissions are based on just as much luck as the people playing the games.
