It completely depends on the content of your WSO, what will you offer?
It will be extremely hard if it's just another "I earn $10.000 per week, let me teach you how" wso.

Actually a WSO about earning $10k a week would make it VERY easy... If you do, in fact make $10k a week.

OP should maybe start off selling something you don't need credibility or big claims to sell.

My first WSO was in 2007 and it was a PLR ebook on how to generate traffic.

It made me $1.350 in sales and I couldn't believe my eyes because at the time I was a house painter for $9 an hour in Darlington, South Carolina.

Does the product stand up for itself? If it does, you do have chances.

If it doesn´t and you want short term results, you need to back it up with your history in the forum.

also remember that the wso can keep bringing you business later. Even when it doesn´t work up front.

One way or another... business is about taking calculated risks. If you plan to stay around and you are proud of your product, then by all means go for it.

You do realize that you have to be a War Room Member to post a WSO, don't you?
That's a $37 one-time membership, before you can post your WSO, then the WSO is another $40.

      Just food for thought.

        sure,
already aware and have no problem with it
only like I said, still worry that my product is not selling well since this will be my first WSO.

If you have something people want, then it will sell. Probably pretty well.

Just make sure you are bringing undeniable value to your customers.

Make syure to catch their email, follow up marketing is where the big money is.

I agree with you. It really doesn't matter if you have only 2 or 3 posts.

Before setting up your WSO, you could give away (or sell for a very low price) some copies of your theme in the Classified Ads section of the forum. This might give you some valuable testimonials.

I disagree. A lot of people actually do take in account the amount of post a seller has. Though this is usually the newbie that wants to verify if the seller is legit and known.

You are right about the testimonial thing. Reviews are way to let people see the opinion of others. A lot of people take action after reading the reviews.

So in short for OP. Got something unique and worth while? Got some good reviews? Then give it a try. But don't expect to sell thousands, and perhaps you should do a FREE WSO first in order to get some leads.

That would eliminate 95% (totally made up statistic) of the marketers who build their reputation through selling high quality products. There are many Warriors who run successful wso's without a huge mailing list, review copies, tons of affiliates... and some of their pages ain't pretty.

None of that stuff will hurt you, it will help you greatly, but none of it is essential to run a successful wso.

      It's all about the offer.

It's just like any marketplace.. as long it's an offer people can't resist, your post count will only temporarily slow you down - not stop you completely. As soon as established members provide some social proof that what you're selling is worth the money, you'll be ok. As already mentioned, getting some feedback first can be useful.

Maybe posting something valuable in the War Room could be worthwhile to help you build trust.

    1. Get yourself a profile picture at the very least

    2. Do NOT do a free WSO unless you want to attract a whole lot of time wasters

    3. You are lucky in that you are selling an actual product such as a WP them since it either works or it does not. If you were trying to sell some type of coaching program with only 2 posts you might find things a little harder.

    4. Do NOT expect to strike it rich on your first WSO. The WSO forum is NOT the money tree a lot of marketers would like you to believe it is. It is a very small minority of people making all the money in the WSO forum. Majority of WSO's wouldn't make more than a few hundred dollars. It just so happens you only ever see the successful ones because they are the ones that can afford to bump their offer back to the top pages. All the other WSOs just drop off into oblivion.

Totally agree with Will, setup your profile first, then take a look at what people want, create the product and then offer it too them.

      Good luck

If you have a quality product and also you would need some good reviews and affiliates promotion your product to have a successful launch.

The simple answer to your questions is only if you have something of value to share with warriors. The main problem for newbies doing WSO's is that what they are offering is normally of low quality.

      1. If you don't ever try then you will never know what is possible.
      2. What number of sales do you consider to be successful for your first product? It's your own personal goal that you're trying to achieve.
3.There are some people with low post counts that have had a reasonable amount of success promoting wso's.
      4. I look at it from the perspective of trying to get better with each product I would offer.

But you have to start somewhere.

One thing I learned with my first WSO a few weeks back is that you must have affiliates promoting your product. No hype no sales, that's just how it is.

Everyone has the opportunity for their WSO to be successful. Is it a quality product? Will you support it? Post reviews, give some away, write good copy, make the price right.

      I disagree with you.

I think a lot of newbies don't know to check things like post count - and those who find this forum into the WSO from general google searches have no clue what so ever about post counts or even that what they are looking at is a "wso."

I think it is those who have been around the block who go looking for more details on who the seller is - provided it is something other than a nice website template or something that is more of a tool.

For me it boils down to the offer. Do I need it for my business? Will it help increase my earnings or make my job easier?

The only frivolous purchases I make are from those who I just like. Yes - I'm guilty of buying things I don't even need just because I know your reputation or you have great sales copy.

If that is a good product, sure. you are sell it as the WSO BUT don't forget about the "after sale support", it is very important. If you do the research, you will find that some of the WSO when they start, it sell very well but soon you will find some people start to complain in the thread. The most common complain are they did not get respond from the support desk.

I bought a lot course in this forum, If the support desk did not answer. I will not buy their product anymore.

    Hope this help.
