need advertising advice

Hi,

I need advertising advice, I have about $100 I want to spend on an advertisement. I was thinking about advertising on warriorforum, but not sure if it really worth it. They ask $100 for the banner ad for one day if I'm correct, but I've seen other ads on warriorforum that use a bit.ly link and they only get like 90 visits in 24 hours. Should I go with warriorforum or should I try something like buysellads.com where you can get a ad for 30 days in the price range of $100-$150? I haven't done this before so I don't want to waste any money, any advice would be appreciated.

I think it depends on what you're advertising. In most cases, advertising something on buysellads.com that people have never heard of won't yield much. You'll end up getting only a few clicks in most cases.

You have had good success with FB? We tried using it to generate sales for a company about a year ago. Didn't get a single sell from it. Google adwords actually performed better.

I think it just depends on the product or service your selling... That's just my opinion

Without knowing anything about your niche, product, or market, it is difficult to give advice. Generically, I would say that your best bet would probably be to hire a decent writer to write a good article for you, then get it published in every relevant publication that you can.

Or, you can buy a good solo ad, maybe even two depending on your niche market.

Either way, you will have more long-term success if you use the advertising to begin building a list. If I jump to the conclusion that your niche is what you are selling in your current signature, then you can find JV partners in the JV section of this forum to buy solo ads from.

Actually for $60 you could get a small banner ad in your signature for a year! I believe that's going to be a very good investment, however I'll only recommend you on doing so if you have at least 500 posts.. No point investing it if you have less than 500 posts IMO. (Yes I'm gonna have a banner ad SOONNNNNN, Finally)

Alternatively, you could try PPC methods.. It might be quite expensive but I think that will be your best bet, at least you're buying for clicks, in another word, you paying to see results

Some ads (like banner or text ads on other people website) which charges on a monthly basis doesn't guarantee you clicks at all. . This is another profitable strategy as well in term of ROI but you'll need to do your homework and research.. if NOT you might be paying more for less, or worst, paying for nothing.

    Hope this help,
    Jeremiah

P.S. Oh ya, how can I ever forget solo-ads.. that's another way for paying to see results..

As what other warriors said, it really depends on the kinds of ads you are putting in an advertising website. If you have enough balance currently, I suggest you to try both and see how things works for you. after weigh the results and focus on what is working.
