TLTheLiberator: I have chosen a method

Hey TL,

As my method I've chosen click-bank affiliate review site.

Here is what I've done so far:

I'm YseUp,

20-something dude living in the UK. Inspired by friends and acquaintances who are making a living from IM it's my mission to do the same.

Last year I set up a blog for which I wrote every couple of day it earned me around $250 from affiliate sales.

Now I always knew that I didn't want to keep running the blog as it's just creating another job for myself. It was purely a learning exercise.

As The Liberator keeps saying, making sure you choose your method and focus on that. My new site is a clickbank affiliate review site.

What I've done so far:

1. Chosen method
2. Chosen niche
3. Registered domain. It's www.'niche'productsreviews.com
4. Set up wordpress, tailored the theme for my needs.
5. Reviewed 4 books and set up Amazon affiliate links (This is not for money, just to have more articles with good keywords and for a bit more authenticity)
6. Reviewed 4 products that give good commission ($30 - $100) One of the reviews is negative.
7. Written to informative articles and put them up on Ezine Articles, they've been accepted. Written 1 article for E-How.

The niche is one that I've been interested in for 8 years and has quite a few products that give a commission of between $30 and $100.

There are many sites focused on selling the top product and there are a couple of review sites though they are poor quality IMO and give good reviews for every product.

Next Actions: Review more products. I want to have at least 20 reviews up before I star focusing on traffic. At the moment I have a couple of informative articles but not sure if I should keep doing that, or just focus on reviews.

    Very cool!!!

After you get your other reviews up work on becoming a master of traffic generation and get to testing.

    Your words...

    Next Actions:

At the moment I have a couple of informative articles but not sure if I should keep doing that, or just focus on reviews.

You should test your articles for preselling vs. your reviews and see which one does better.

I'm glad someone is listening and has taken strategic action.

If you don't have a online business model, conduct your research and get one because doing this will destroy your confusion and info-overload quickly.

    Jeremy,

It looks like strategic action after he buckled down and got a clear plan.

It also looks like a lot of confusion and info-overload has been destroyed.

    Old Chinese proverb says...

"To know and not to do is not to know".

    Who's next?

If you don't have a plan it better be you.

    Hope This Helps!!

I have a site like that. I make a killing at it for Reviews.

    This is what you do:

    1. Begin your blog with about 10 pillar articles, pure content, and how-to information. Got this idea from Yaro Starak's newsletter.

    2. Have zero adsense, or any other type of links that will distract for the visitor buying the affiliate product.

    3. Get on Mike Merz list at Joint Venture (JV) Lists, Announcements, Blogs, And Community Forums. of up and coming launches.

    4. When a major hype product launch is emerging, ask for a review copy from the vendor. Show them your site, what you are doing, etc. 90% will give you a review of some fashion.

    5. Write your review of the product, but don't make it too long. 400 words is good.

Put the product name in title, the product name in first line of review, and sprinkle product name naturally through your posting.

Use technorati tags at the end of your posting, with product name varations (productname review, productname bonus, etc)

    6. Don't be 100% positive about the product, and show a couple of weaknesses.

    7. With the weaknesses of the product, get some PLR or MRR products, and throw these in as a bonus for anyone who orders through your link. Instruct them in your post to clear their cookies.

    8. It is awesome to make your very own bonuses yourself, and how it will help them. A report, a video series. Something personal.

    9. Have a exit popup, like Virtual Smart Agent, or some other script, to capture emails before they leave.

    10. Now it is time for traffic:

    A. Do two articles and submit them each to ezinearticles and goarticles, all linking to your review posting

    B. Do a video capture of the product, and thank you page, showing exactly what you get with the product. If it ebook, go over the Table of Contents. Show they a couple really great ideas, but just wet the appetite. Make sure you put your URL to your review site in the video by using Titles and Captions.

    C. Submit the video to Video sharing sites using TubeMogul, or even better, TrafficGeyser. But the video on your review site.

    D. Set up some free minisites and add content using anchor text to link to your review site. Use squidoo, wordpress.com, hubpages, weebly, livejournal. Do a couple short reviews and convert it to pdf and submit to Scribd and other ebook download sites.

    E. Do a couple short ads at Craigslist, Backpage, kijiji.ca, and USFreeads, and anchor link back to your review site, or to a minisite.

    F. Go to Flickr and submit a banner image of the product, and link it back to the review site.

    G. Go to ping.fm and register for all the social media sites. Set your profile up nice. Then, do a ping to your review site using ping.fm

    H. Use socialmarker.com or some other service, to bookmark your blog posting. Just do 3 a day.

    I. Promote the promotes with your bookmarking. Thus, bookmark the url's of your videos, scribd, mini-sites, etc.

    J. Submit the RSS Feed of your site and the minisites to RSS Feed directories.

YOU DO THIS...AND YOU WILL MAKE A KILLING AND DOMINATE GOOGLE.

Yes, it's an excellent plan of attack if Yseup is going to operate in the how to make money niche as I think item #3 assumes by signing up for the JV stuff with Mike Merz.

But this plan can be modified to work in any niche.

Thanks for the serious step by step details Mark.

Yes, I do this method every week. And, the more you learn and execute, the better you get. And, the financial rewards are there. You can have $20k weeks, and in your first 6 months.
