Need a little help starting off.....

Well, yes, there are thousands of threads, so do a search on a keyword like "newbie" or "starting in im" or something like that. True, those searches will return tons of threads, but you'll find some gems in there if you sift through them.

One word of advice - and you'll see this mentioned in the above thread - is to focus on one area of marketing and stick with it until you're successful before moving onto another area.

What are you interested in? There is no point having a hundred different ideas fired at you because it will serve no purpose other than to keep you from making any progress.

Well, before starting up into im business. It would be better if you ask yourself, what you want, what you have, and how much time you have for it. Just suggestion from newbie.

1. Find out what you like. There are ways to make money but you want to find one congenial to your likings.

2. Look at your own skills and what you know, this will be a good key in which direction you like.

Making money online is a big big big and vast meaning and there are so many ways to go about it. Its like saying I want to learn a language... OK, there are so many, so first find one you like to start on, because you will be in it for the long haul!

Once you figure some ways that sound interesting, go forth learn and prosper!

Right now you will want to take stock of your skills with computers and Internet technologies. Do you know how to FTP? Do you understand SEO? Do you understand how to install software, work with complex software? Do you understand email, do you know web design?

These questions will help you to find out where you are at, because if you have to learn all that stuff then this could take a while! If you find you have a strength in a certain area, you will find that it will save you a lot of time rather then going through another route to learn a whole new set of things.

Making money online is also not an easy thing to do and can take a while to not only find out what you need as base knowledge, but also to go through a whole load of fluff, and garbage to find the wheat from the chaff, the diamonds!

Keep at it. However if you need cash fast, online may not be the best way to go, but the investment can make the difference on the long term, depending how much time you want to invest and how much cash you want to invest.

Hi, the best to do in my opinion is create your own product.

First create a product then get traffic to it
Try creating in ebook in a popular niche
Then find an affiliate create a blog to get sales, simple

Yes like most have said there are numerous ways to make money,
one method i recommend you do research on is list building.

Having your own list and knowing how to build one is a great and
proven way to make money online.

Here area few steps you can follow:

-actively participate in discussions, meaning posting comments on threads.

-become a War Room Member to get the newest material on online marketing.

-spend some time with doing research for different marketing strategies; try things and figure out what suits your talents.

Decide how much time you can devote to studying and learning. (It is my belief that there is no better place to study than right here. You may want to follow some links, and you will find awesome information away from this forum, but there is no better starting point than right here. Once you have exhausted a link, come back and get more information.) Study and learn. Then study and learn some more. Do not get frustrated...treat this as a job. Discipline yourself...I WILL study _ _ hours a week! Make that your first goal. Set your goal at an achievable amount...and exceed it! This will give you a belief in yourself. Succeed in little things...and move to bigger things.

And, after a while, you should get a feeling..."I can do that." Pursue that...study that...until you are ready to get started.

Treat it like a job. If it takes two months before you get started, you may lose 2 months at, say, $10/hour. But, when you start making money, I am certain your earnings will far exceed that! Believe in yourself, the investment will be worthwhile.

Those who do not make money here fail because they do not study and learn.

SO...if you really want to get started, study...as much as you can. Treat it like a job...track your hours.
