OP asked for the best. And there it is...

As Will mentioned, if you dig around one may be able to get a 2nd hand copy of Jeff's original PLF course on Ebay for far less than the original launch price.

        Best,

        Brian

          Agreed!

If you want to try to do this on the cheap, get on Jeff's list NOW and wait until the next cycle of freebie webinars (which are an integral part of the Formula, btw).

Or you get Brendon Burchard's Millionaire Messenger - the paperback is six bucks, the Kindle version is 9.99, go figure.

Or any number of other freebie webinars. There's no monopoly on product launch info - just that some of it comes from authorities you can trust, and the rest, not so much.

I personally enjoyed Jason Fladlien's "poor man's product launch".

These are generally good steps to follow:

    1. get it reviewed here on the WF.

    2. make a JV page and put on a pre-launch site.

    3. make a good headline for people to find it naturally on WSO forum.

    4. contact people that sell the same kind of WSOs and give them a review copy and ask them to promote your product to their list.

Build up a pre-launch mailing list and warm up your leads with a killer sales funnel that gets your leads excited about your product launch.

Gather a tonne of reviews (as mentioned above this can be done on WarriorForum!).

Find joint venture partners promoting similar products.

Write some awesome copy for your pitch page/WSO thread.

Blast your list on launch day!

I think he said it all, but there is one thing he forgot and that a good product. If your product is crap then it doesn't matter how good your product launch is. Can anyone say 50% Refund Rate!

Jeff Walker is definitely the product launch guru and his course 'Product Launch Formula' was one of the products that popularized the technique. You can often find copies of that course selling on eBay. I would also highly recommend Frank Kerns 'Mass Control'. Once again you can often find people selling used copies of that product on eBay.

I recommend both products but I would never pay full price for them.

There's loads of advice around on product launches. Most of it however focuses on "big" launches, with joint venture partners, lots of hoopla, etc.

This is fine. However, you need to realize from the start that big launches aren't so much about the product, as they are a marketing exercise. It's all about the marketing, rather than the product itself. Indeed, the product is a secondary consideration.

That's not to say that you can base a big launch on junk -- you can't.

If this is the direction you want to go in -- go for it. Get some experience creating WSOs first, so you know how to create, sell and promote products, and then make plans for a BIG launch.

Alternatively, if you consider yourself a product creator, as well as promoter, you need to think in terms of PRODUCTS, rather than launches. Creators are much more interested in a constant stream of sales, than they're interested in making a killing with two big launches a year.

If you're a creator, each product you create sells the others you've created. Over time, you'll make a lot of money, without ever going for a big launch.

Want to go the product creator route?

OK, here's a brief rundown of how it works.

As a product creator, your LIST is all-important. These are the people who've purchased your product. They know the quality of what you deliver, and chances are good that they'll buy from you again. So, in addition to launching products frequently, you need to be focused on your list.

You'll start building your list of buyers with your very first product, and you'll think in terms of a series of at least FIVE products, all on the same topic, before you switch to another topic, and create five products on that topic.

You'll have one list for each topic. So if your first topic is dog training, you'll create 5 products on that, while building your list. When you want to switch topics (you don't need to switch, but let's say you do), you'll create a new list for that topic -- weight loss, for example.

When you're creating your first dog training product, you'll outline and start working on, at least two more. You're aiming for a least FIVE, remember.

Launch your first product, and create a blog on the topic. Your blog is your online hub: it's where you'll promote all your products in that topic.

Start working on your next dog training product, and launch it. You can offer your first product as a backend product.

    Keep launching... :-)

So, there you have it. Decide what kind of launch you want -- a big launch, or a series of little launches if you're a product creator.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

    Angela

Do you know marketing? If not, rather than learning about product launches I would partner with someone who does know marketing. Especially if you would rather focus on creating products. Just a thought.

Do a search on Youtube for a guy called "Jeff Johnson". He put part of his seminar on Youtube where he was revealing his process of launching a product successfully online.
