My first t-shirt webstore!

Hey Warriors!

I just finished designing my t-shirt webstore.

Here is it: http://www.tuneshirts.com/

What do you think about the design and the products? Just asked a few people and they told me they like it. Their favoutite product from my store is the "Hard Style Mother **" sweatshirt.

Here is a hardstyle music, if you don't know what is that:

Would people like background music like this on my store?

The site looks awesome. I've been working on kind of a T-shirt/Apparel site myself. I basically wanted to make some funny T-shirts, Mugs etc. I was wondering, are you making the shirts yourself? Were you able to find a manufacturer who was able to make the shirts?

I'm trying to find a drop shipper who will design shirts and mail them to customers. It's been hard to find. Any advice?

There's Zazzle, Cafe Press and some others which are a print your design on the product on demand. The prices might be a bit higher than you want to charge and your profit margin smaller, but I think they take care of all the manufacture, collection and delivery which is a huge plus, then cut you a check.

You still need your own site to promote your own designs since there are so many people that put their designs on there and the competition can be rather fierce.

There are advantages over the do it yourself route. Your designs can be placed on many different products, so you have a much better chance of obtaining sales for different products if you market your designs.

You have to check their terms to see what type of designs are acceptable and if yours do not meet their criteria, you would have to do it all yourself.

        Hi typoo999,

Good effort, simple store layout and most importantly functionality is easy.

Just a few observations (graphic design background):

I'm not sure if you've done them yourself or whatnot, but I think there is abit of improvement left to be desired of the shirt designs. The typography can do with abit of improvement and spacing can be tuned up. Whilst grunge fonts can instantly look the part, IMO they look too much of a 'shortcut' and may cheapen the designs if overused.

Are solid colour shirts an option, or just plain white for the time being? I think hard style music from what you are showing is fresh, trippy and young, and colors will do justice to your audience.

Keep it up, target market your audience and keep the designs different and fresh

I see you are using Spreadshirt.

I do blind dropshipping for several websites, but I don't have the variety of products that others have. I mostly do t-shirts.

If you are willing to do more work you can make more money. 4 of the 5 shirts on your site are just 2 color prints. You might be able to find a local screen printer that will print a low run for you. There will be A LOT more profit for you, but wait until you know what designs are selling so you don't get stuck with a lot of stock you can't move.

Another thing you should think about is putting your website address somewhere in the design if you can. Very few people will ask somebody where they got a shirt, but might visit the site if they see it on the shirt.

Good Luck! When it works it is a lot of fun.

As a fellow clothing line owner, first thing that stands out is you have no proper branding since you are using spreadshirt and they will be sending all of your stuff. Second, it is a spreadshirt site, it can't get much better. I personally (as well as the majority of the teen market) would not wear those shirts since they don't offer anything different besides text, you need to get better designs for the site overall. Also, IDK if this is a feature of a spreadshirt site, but you don't have a meta title so it just shows up as your site link.

And no background music, it turns people off have no idea why people still use it, very annoying often.

I sold tshirts from cafe press for a few years. I ran an animal website. The shirts convert pretty well and are decent quality. The only issue is that they are a little higher priced than a lot of the other tshirt vendors out there. I never had any issues with them, shirts shipped on time, very few refunds and they paid me on time.

If I were going to affiliate tshirts again, I would probably go back to them.
