Profits Theme Membership Site

I recently got the PROFITS Theme & could use some help.

Are there any resources to help you figure out how to set up a membership site with this theme efficiently? All I really need is the big picture. I can figure out most of the details on my own.

I can see there's tons of things in here and that it's really powerful. I just don't have a year to figure it all out.

I'm looking for a road-map to setting this thing up. I'm figuring it out, but it's fairly slow. There should be a flow chart or something to help you get through the millions of screens.

You open up this screen, but cant use it till you've done this... and you cant do that till you've done something else. You can tell an engenieer put this together and the documentation assumes you already know what he's talking about.

The problem is there's nothing to move you sequentially through the process.

What I want to do is fairly straight forward. I want to create free and paid membership sites where the users automatically get a username and password with paypal and aweber integration.

I'm sure it's about a 2 hour process if you know how to use this thing. I'm just looking for a video or a flow chart that shows the big picture.

Sorry for the rant... It's good, I just need a little point in the right direction.

Thanks!

You could follow along with the detailed video series they have posted that shows how to set up a membership site, step-by-step. Did you look around at what they've put there for you?

Thanks - yes, i've watched the videos. There are some gaps in what they cover and they take 30 minutes to say something that should often take a minute.

The biggest problem with them is that they don't move sequentially. You pretty much have to dive into the entire thing and figure it all out for yourself in the end.

I was just needing a checklist or something to help me save some time. Every thread I've read says how great this theme is once you figure it all out... Meaning, once they spent a ton of time figuring it out they liked it.

This is just my opinion, but I think this product could definitely benefit from better support videos.

Sure Rick, that'd be great. I'd love to have a manual for Profits Theme.

I think it will be pretty good once i figure it out. I just should have given myself a lot longer to learn the ropes with it.

PS: Sorry I can't PM you... I don't have enough posts yet. Can you PM me?

Hey guys, sorry to hijack a thread but I have a minor Profits Theme problem too. The default template has your homepage show a list of Posts, but all are condensed ('Read More' mode). I have looked for over an hour and can't find an option to have a post be displayed in full on my homepage.

There's nothing profit-making about a homepage that is just snippets of articles. I'm not sure why I'm having so much trouble with this. Thanks if you can help me.

The Profits Theme tutorials are pretty detailed, so you should be able to find all the info you need, unless you have a cracked ver and no access to members area?

    Hi,

There was a recent wso called "instant web empire" that used profit theme to build sales pages and membershipsites - should be just what you are looking for.

A guy who probably knows PT Theme best is "Darren Scott Monroe", Google it. You'll find a ton of info on his pages regarding PT and how to use it. The guy helped me out quite a bit in the beginning.
