Are your products being sold for $5 by "stealers"?

How are you doing?

You may be surprised how many micro-jobs sites offer products for $5 that were not created by the sellers...

I have found some of mine (thank you Google). Still investigating, but this could be happening to you too.

I've seen a few on Fiverr before now - doesn't take long to get them shifted when I've alerted the copyright holders :-)

This is very true. I believe Fiverr and the likes should get tough on this issue.

This is "stealing" and absolutely not acceptable. I feel for you man.

      Hey thanks.

I'm not really that worried though - I'd be more worried if no one wanted to steal my stuff! (I WILL punish this behaviour however)

It's rather amusing when you think of the "insolence". The guys selling are probably the same ones who ask for refunds all the time.

I guess it is the nature of the beast in IM.

You are always going to get the odd few who will try and take advantage of any opportunity to make a fast buck. I think it the same when you have a download page for a product or service. Unless you can protect the download page in some way, you're always going to get some cocky SOB passing it on for a freebie or even a small fee.

    Wow, dodgy as!

I'll have to keep an eye on it to make sure none of my products ever pop up over there...

Yes I have seen many items on Fiverr that have come from the WF. Its not fair and they should be banned from Fiverr or had legal action taken against them!

There are many sites that give your products away for free. I have even found WSO's that have taken one of my products and actually just ran it though maybe something like The Best Spinner and changed all the words, but used my product. It's annoying, but you can't stop the power of the Internet.

I bought a Amazon Wordpress plug in once on Fiverr and it was a pirated copy of WP Zon. You've got to be careful when you buy certain items on Fiverr because the seller may be thief.

On the bright side, people like that will never be successful. Not with this attitude and character. They will remain being bottom feeding losers, selling stolen information products for $4 on Fiverr.

The winners are the ones who do things right, who treat people well and impress them simply by being good. Internet marketing is about networking, and about collaborating and working together. This is where real profits can be made.

Your right. Most people who are in this way of thinking will always hit small prizes for a short span. Everyone who has a bigger thinking approach with a better attitude will win big.

month or so ago there was a WSO telling people to do exactly this ( sell WSOs on Fiverr) to earn money. This WSO was then taken down. This is nature of IM.

you should check fiverr and gigbucks and just report the seller to get it removed because this may destroy your product selling and make it 0 value for buyers if they see it for $5 at fiverr or other sites
    keep your eyes on guys

Unfortunately this is way too common. I've had Fiverr 'gigs' removed which were nothing more than one of my products. They even use my sales page, or parts of it. No effort was even being made to hide the fraud.

Just complain it to the Fiverr. They are responsive and will remove the gig.

This is a common problem, which literally makes my blood boil but it's like whistling in the wind. I am nit saying don't do anything but sites like Fiverr don't really care IMO.

I've seen my books get pirated, but never resold.

I don't care when my stuff gets pirated too much, because I promote my URLS in my books.

    :/

But, I haven't seen anything too egregious yet.

When I realized that I had bought a pirated copy of WP Zon, I PM'd the owner of the plugin through this board. He reported it to Fiverr and the next day, the gig was gone. The owner was real nice about it, even gave me a discount so I could buy a legitimate copy of WP Zon with support and updates (and I happily took him up on the offer! It's a really nice plugin!). The thieving seller had a bunch of positive feedback on the gig so it looked like he'd been selling it a while.

I think that if you find a stolen product on Fiverr, you should report the gig to Fiverr or the owner of the product (if you can find him). It's just amazing that someone would resort to stealing from another person to make a meager $4.
