No Links in Google?

Not sure if this is the correct place,

When i use Traffic Travis it says i have lots of links to my website, however when i go to google and type;

link:www.mywebsite.com

It says no results found, can anyone tell me why and should i be worried?

    Google rarely shows many links, unless you check through WMT.

    Google link: shows only some specific backlinks. For getting the correct number of your website backlink login to your Google webmaster tool. You will get the exact numbers and volume.
