Need advice, the right direction

Hey Daniel,
Are you committing yourself to CPA or are you willing to try other avenues? Some of advice I ever received was just to sit down and put my thoughts down on paper. Make a plan of what you want to achieve and try and make a little bit of progress everyday.

You wanna join the 100 dollar day club - very achievable. But first make 10 dollar days, then 20, then 50 and before you know it you'll be consistently hitting the 100.

I'm not very familiar with CPA but I wish you the best with your journey

I think the only thing you are lacking right now is doing.

You have not been trying to become an IM for 5-6 months. You've been playing and perhaps researching for 5-6 months.

If you had a website up, had sent some traffic to it, had some data to analyze on your conversions, then you would have been trying and doing.

I don't think you are 100% motivated.

Why are you wasting money on useless WSO's? How much of those products did you actually try to implement?

Are you expecting a free mentor or coach to just jump out here and tell you what to do?

The advice I'd give you or the direction is to sit down today and write out an actual plan of what you want to see happen. Then actually act on what is in that plan.

LOL, I guess someone did - but the problem is you won't appreciate it if you are not paying for it. Heck, it sounds like you've already paid for products and you don't even put those to use.

I do have a couple websites, I got traffic that came from yahoo answers and what not for my cpa offers. It's easier said then done, I never worked with any data or analyzed anything. I'm not expecting a mentor or anyone to spoon feed me. I'm just asking for someone to help me point me to the right direction that's all. If someone teaches me or points out a guide how to get good traffic, analyze conversations. I have the motivation I have the plan But I lack education. If I know how and what to do it, I will do it and succeed.

Ok, sound like you have done something perhaps.

But the added information you just gave us gives us a much better understanding of what direction you need to go in.

If you have not been tracking information on your sites then there is no way to improve to that conversion stage.

Each part of your sales funnel/process should be under scrutiny.

{ Traffic + Conversions = Sales}

Yes, easier said than done.

Perhaps the traffic you are directing to your site is the wrong type of traffic - meaning they are not "buyers."

Perhaps your sites information is not informative to those who come by.

You want to set up some ways to analyze what is going on in the process to see what is wrong.

And it could even be that the offers you were accepted to to promote just downright suck.

Get some google analytics, or piwik or something installed on your site so you can at least make educated guesses as to what is wrong or just not working.

You don't need a mentor for this.

yes, that traffic was not targeted traffic, I only worked with cpa. I heard about promoting click bank products. I'm willing to try out new things as well.

Jill Carpenter you just gave this guy his first free coaching. Its easy to get paralyzed by information overload with internet marketing. Many people want to have every thing perfect before they start. They want to analyze and know everything. Its the equivalent of trying to analyze every gallon of ocean water before you sail around the world. You can take the next 10 lifetimes and still won't know everything about internet marketing. So just jump in start following this basic equation { Traffic + Conversions = Sales} and make the mistakes so you can learn from them and move forward. The biggest problem that I suffered from for the longest was hoping from one thing to the next. It was madness.

I agree with not appreciating a mentor unless your paying for it. By paying for it you are motivated to succeed. Your going to take action because you are invested in it.

IM is simple:

1) Target a niche where you can make money solving a problem with an instant solution
2) Build your list
3) Create products
4) Recruit affiliates and by helping them succeed you will succeed

I say this over and over and you will see this same theme in many of my posts, and this is what I would tell you on a coaching call.

Now that you know what needs to be done FOCUS and TAKE ACTION!

Buy a domain name
Put up a Wordpress site on it
Sign up for aweber or icontact or whatever
Give away a product to entice visitors to sign up to your list

If you do all of that on day one your off to a good start.

okay thanks so the niches I should be looking for are problem and solution niches. I'm guessing a good example of that would be "Yellow teeth" and the solution would be "teeth whiting". what you jsut said up top is that to collect emails for email marketing?
