Amazon promotion terms question

Hi!

I have just updated one of my amazon affiliate sites, and I made a top 5 product lists in the menu.

I also made a huge arrow pointing at the list to make sure the visitor noticed it. The links in the list are directly to 5 different products on amazon.

My question is: is this huge pink arrow accepted by Amazon? I know google adsense do not like any arrows or even images that highlight ads, but this is a little different.

  • Yes, it's fine. Unlike Adsense, you don't get paid if someone clicks on a link to Amazon, only if they actually buy something. So it's quite acceptable to draw attention to the links.

    I will continue to go along with it.

    Looking forward to see next week how this top 5 list and arrow will affect the sales. Products was last updated in 2008 and most aff links was dead. Still #1 though!
