Whats missing from my affiliate site?

Hey guys, Hope your all having a great day :p

I cant help but sit here and think about whats missing from my affiliate website. Clicks have been slowly rising for my site but sales are pretty much zero as i type.

Can anybody suggest something i may be doing wrong or something i am missing with the site? Keywords appear to be spot on (mostly all buying keywords) but concerned that my site my not be convincing enough for people to purchase from?

My website address is... pctabletpc.co.uk

Any help would be massively appreciated! (no matter how small)

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. Could not find an appropriate place.

Thank You

I would say, at first glance, the clicks must be from curiosity seekers. They are only interested in "looking" and have no inclination from the start to buy. Another possibility is that, because there are so many product reviews, they're also going to a different site to confirm, or dispell what they are learning on your site. Now keep in mind that I don't even get clicks at all to my site, so I may be speaking out my arse, but after looking at your site that;s what popped in my head. Good luck, and never give up.

How is your CTR to your affiliate links?

Recently I've tried switching from theme to theme for my review site and it's increased the CTR for me for Amazon..which in turn increased sales.

I would take the welcome message out of the home page and put it in the about page. Also, the title is too long and the flow is not right:

The accordion is cool, but I would make it dynamic and sue it for latest reviews.

Between the accordion and the welcome message, there is no space above the fold to see the review titles. How is your bounce rate? it should be big for this configuration.

Thank you for the tip Sandra. I'd never heard of an "accordion sentence" before but after a little bit of research i understand what you mean. I guess that sentence is a clear example of me using a "keyword stuffed title". Will get round to changing this. Can i ask what you meant by "sue it for latest reviews" ? Little confused by that.

Bounce rate for the website is actually pretty good. It usually sits around the 40% 50% rate which at the moment i am very happy with. I'm unsure what the average bounce is? But 40% 50% cant be bad?

          Hi,

the accordion is the system you use to show the posts, that big box that scrolls when you click on the side.

"sue"... it was just a typo. I meant "use".

    The opt-in and list-building.

With an opt-in, you have very, very, very much more than just the site with which to convince people to buy: you can establish a relationship through which prospective customers come to know and trust you, so that the strength of your recommendations is enormously enhanced - this is what produces affiliate sales.
