I got an email offer from a company that will pay me to do advertising on my blog.

Anyone ever heard of them or done business with them?

      I'm pretty sure I got an email from them.

      They want to buy links and despite what they say, they don't have any clients for you.

      Was all lined up after a few conversations but they had no clients for my site. Wasted my time.

    Guys, they want to pay me $125.00 to put a 'page' on my site with a link to their client's site. Then they pay 48 hours later. Sounds like they want a link on my site, to get as much back link juice as possible.

    I'm going to tell them to pay me in advance and will get back to you guys.

      Make sure the page that they put on your site is 1) relevant and 2) does not contain harmful coding/virus and 3) points to a relevant site and not some crappy nonsense or porn site etc.

      As much as getting paid for 'simply' placing a page or link on your site sounds exciting, you never know what might damage your site and pull it down as a whole.

    I told them that for their price, I would review their clients site, and describe it in one of my blog posting. NO CODE!
    Plus, they have to pay me in advance.
