It would depend on the website background, however the first looks to msot professional in my opinion.

The second one is also pretty decent and a little more "fun".

I personally would not choose the third one however.

The first concept looks the most professional, no doubt. Looking over them again, I would say concept 2 maybe would appeal more to younger moms because of the strong colors.

My advice is to try adding a color to the first one, try to just add color to "Lovley" or "Fitness". I beilve it will make a better first impression and reach more moms.

    Concept 2, without question.

Further advice, if you were able to replace the mascot from 2 with the mascot from 3 - I believe that would be even better.

Since no one else pointed this out, I want to make one observation:

The name doesn't match the graphic. "Lovely Fitness" doesn't make me think of moms and babies in the slightest sense...I'm not attacking you or the concept, but it seems mis-matched to me.

Now that I've gotten that off of my chest, I vote for #2. The first one, where "lovely" is split with a French-style accent ("L'ovely") creates a new non-word. The third one reminds me of a scene in the movie "Beetlejuice" and the mom looks like she's going to eat the baby.

It was going to be called "mrsbusyfitness" then someone pointed out women hate to be called mrs.

Then it was going to be "missbusyfitness" then I found out miss is under-18 in USA.

"msbusyfitness" might be more appropriate. I've lived in the US my entire life and I've never met a woman who hated to be called "mrs," but it could be a geographical thing. I live in the South where we pay a lot more attention to names and titles than other parts of the country.

"ms," otoh, is used for all women when we are uncertain of her marital status and I've never had a lady take offense to it, either.

Now you've gotten my two cents twice, so I think you owe me $0.04. If I reply again, I'll settle for a nice, shiny nickel.

I rank them in order 1/2/3 very clearly: I think 1 is by far the best. (And number 3 pretty unpleasant).

What's the extraneous apostrophe doing in the word "L'ovely" in number 1, though?

Have to say I agree entirely with JaRyCu that the name doesn't quite match the graphic: "lovely fitness" does perhaps seem a little mismatched with a "moms and babies" image?

I am utterly AMAZED that people are voting for number 3 last and even going as far as slating it.

From a graphic design standpoint and functionality number 3 is so much better than the other two.

Number 3 has professional keylining (outlines to the illustration) and the pic and type balance is perfect. The font compliments the picture and is ideally suited. The text also features appropriate keylining which runs flush with the style of the picture.

The only critique I have against number 3 are the colours which appear a little too pastel and washed out, but that's easy solved.

I'd hire the designer of number 3 any day as they have a perfect grasp of character incorporation into an actual logo design and the picture design as a standalone is worthy as professional art. I could also speak for several studios who would also favour this designer for their style of work.

Infact I've dropped you a PM. I'd like their contact details if you are willing to disclose.

          Hi Daniel,

Let me explain why I don't like number 3:

          1) The moms in #1 and #2 look kind of hot. By contrast, #3 looks rather dumpy.

          2) The mom in #3 looks like an alien. She frightens me.

          3) The mom's hair in #3 looks like a helmet -- not hair.

          4) The colors of the characters in #3 don't pop as much.

          5) Mom #3's kid wants attention, but she's busy talking on the phone with her friends about American Idol.

Many designs of people extend beyond a humanoid form for the purpose of defining a unique and interesting style. This is true for many cartoons which see emphasized features and skewed shapes.

            Each to their own though...

You might have just established yourself as a client from hell solely by using the word "pop".

            Thanks for your elaboration.

Out of the three I would say 1 is best because it seems more professional. However, you could try using Number 2`s text as it could be the best concept overall.

Got to agree with the majority - 3 looks pretty bad and the mum and baby are really ugly:p

Number 2, but with the Lady and kid of number 1.

What I don't like in the number 2 lady is the cleaning. If I was Mom vising your site and seeing the logo I wouldn't want to relate myself with cleaning. Shopping seems much better.

Number 2 is FAR better than the others. (Number 3 is a disaster.)

However, I'm concerned about the logo's size. Are you going to display it that size? If not, at 50% that size the detail in the figures and readability of the tagline are all but lost.

That's why most logos are kept simple.

For some reason the woman holding the baby part is throwing me off, I know it implies busy but there are no visuals in that image of fitness. Maybe replace the image of the baby with weights.

Yeah, the tagline for the first image doesn't quite suit the "lovely" concept. #3 is a good one, but the lady needs to be "adjusted". Particularly the eyes.

#1 if you want to leave it as is or #3 if you want to bother with some quick adjusts.

None of them particularly struck me. In fact, the first thing that popped into my head was "can't she find her pants/skirt?"

Took me a second to realize it was supposed to be gym shorts...

    Edit:

On second look, the position of the baby looks unnatural in 1 and 2. If you watch a real mother carrying a toddler, the child will be straddling her hip like a pony. This allows most of the weight to be carried on the hip, not the arm/shoulder/back.

#3 is a natural carry position for an infant.

personally speaking, i prefer number 3 over the other 2 simply because it stands out alot more to me. the lines are alot more thicker and the text fonts compliment the character like a matching pair.

Plus the design looks alot more modern and 21st century style. The other 2 seem alot more outdated style of designs.

coming from a design background i would go for number 3 over the other 2 any day.
