How to increase Email OPEN RATE?

1. Sizzling hot subject line
2. Magnetic body content
3. Superb Relationship with subscribers
4. Offering only good products (which is very hard to maintain)

And What Else??? Please leave your reply...

To maintain consistently high open rates over time,
you need to focus on delivering highly relevant
content and offers to your subscribers.

I segment my lists religiously so that I'm sure to
send people information that's in line with what
    they've already signed-up for.

So, rather than having one BIG list, segment
whenever practical so you have a better chance
of sending the right message to the right person
    at the right time.

Develop a reputation for delivering what people
want, when they want it and open rates are less
    of a problem.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

    Shaun

I'd say occasionally throwing in a really good freebie works well. I don't mean a standard freebie that everyone can get if they sign up for your list. I mean something that's completely unique to the people on your list. A brand new piece of content or a premium product are good examples.

For example, I occasionally give subscribers on my list a free copy of my latest PLR release. I don't do it too often and I don't have a set date where I do it but it does help boost your open rates in the long run.

Obviously the freebie gets a really high open rate because the word free is in your subject. However, the subsequent email open rates also stay high and if you keep doing this on an occasional basis you build up a great relationship with your subscribers. I get lots of subscribers thanking me for these freebies whenever I release them.

I usually start by using the name of the subscriber on the title of my mail. When people see their names on the email, they are most likely to open it (it's like hearing someone call your name out on a busy street. If someone shouts "Andy", and your name is Andy, chances are you are going to react even if you are not the Andy being called.)

    Hope that helps =)

    Here's what I would add...

Use "Open Loops" in your email copy. Your email list shouldn't be a collection of single messages. Instead, create a story arch that speaks to the reader's specific problem. In many of the messages talk about something you are GOING to send them; but keep up the suspense.

To really ramp things up; mention something you're going to talk about WEEKS ahead of time; and keep bringing it up in your email copy.

This one technique alone has brought me over 60% open rates with some of my specialized lists.

Of course, when people sign up for your list and put their name as "asdf" or "Ronald McDonald" it's not quite as effective.. haha.

This is a great tip. I find it works great too! :-)

      Give it a shot ;-)

Main thing that decides your open rates is the subject line. The best content in the
world means nothing unless the email gets opened. And if it is not opened they can't
see the content and it is useless. Writing subject lines is a science by itself and it is
advisable to contact professional copywriter to write some.

One other thing is the relationship you have with your subscribers. If you send them
quality content, and they know what they can expect from you, they will eagerly
expect your mails and will be much more likely to open them.

Don't flood their inboxes with offer after offer. Try and focus on being a giver first and then when you do send them an affiliate offer they will be more inclined to check it out.

I know I've unsubbed from many a list just because I was getting blasted everyday with products. I think there is a fine balance and if you can find it you can both keep your subs happy and also make some nice commissions
