xrumer reputation services

I have a client who wants to use the XRUmer reputation service for some bad names about his company. xrumer charges $5,000 for this service. I wonder how they do it really but my question goes does: has anyone tried them before and does it work?

$5,000 to get rid of some 'bad names'?

    It's too expensive.

I have no personal experience with XRUmer however I had a guy claiming he could do similar things, I found out he had a bad rep so I asked him to demonstrate is abilities and never heard back from him. I would be very sceptical, tread with caution.

XRumer is just software. Is XRumer the company actually running these reputation services? Or is it someone using the XRumer software?

Either way $5K is probably way too much. How are they actually doing it? XRumer is typically used to just spam forums, I'm not sure how that's going to help with rep.

5k seems insane. Are you sure it's actually XRumer running the service? XRumer is a software not a service.

    I wouldn't use 5k for that.

xrumer is just the software, they don't sell any services.

    5k is a lot.

people don't really use xrumer for that stuff.

Taken from the first link on Google:

XRumer is a blackhat SEO program that is able to successfully register and forum spam with the aim of boosting search engine rankings. The program is able to ...
When you say "bad names" I'm assuming bad reviews. If those reviews are actually true, getting a few bad reviews removed isn't going to matter. I'm also pretty sure that most of the people complaining about getting blasted by Google lately, are using methods like this. I'd advise against it.

    Hi @successfulwarrior

You are refering to my website and reputation management service. (I wont spam my link here!)

We charge a minimum of $5,000 which allows us to create, promote and manage a minimum of 10 sites which would clear the frontpage in google for the specified keyword.

(This may sound like a lot, but if you asked another SEO company to rank 10 of your sites for a particular keyword, I would'nt expect this figure to be much different)

Although depending on the keyword this price could differ greatly due to competition.

We use a mixture of linking building techniques to achieve this, xrumer is just a service and an included technique in this.

I have previous and current clients that with there permission and a signed NDA I could show you some results.

Much easier ways to go about reputation management that are less costly as well. That's not bad pricing though as long as you're the one issuing that price to a client

Check out Knowem.com and register profiles in their name with all the major sites. Visit places like pastebin, etc. Plenty of ways to handle reputation management if you educate yourself a little bit. Good luck!
