If you want to make professional quality videos you need to invest in professional quality software.

Different softwares have different purposes and features so first you need to decide what kind of videos you want to make. Here are some softwares to look into:

    Cyberlink Powerdirector
    Photodex Proshow Producer
    Sony Vegas Pro
    Adobe After Effects
    Camtasia Studio

If you don't have the budget to purchase any of those then search for free programs. I haven't found one that I like so I can't recommend any. I've used all of the above and they all work great for different purposes.

You could do that with free programs such as Windows Movie Maker.

Few days ago I was trying to get up-to-date Windows Movie Maker. It turns out that development of Windows Movie Maker was abandoned after the release of Windows Vista.
It is replaced by free Windows Live Movie Maker (see explore.live.com).

Nowadays you can create professional videos with affordable software like Camtasia. As mentioned before you can invest in more professionals software like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, etc... What you really have to invest is in your computer to be able to create videos, specially in graphic card and processor otherwise you will not be able to do it properly. I mean view the video frame by frame.

I how it helps and good luck.

Have you thought about outsourcing your video creation?

I've used fiverr to create some pretty professional videos for only 5 bucks.

Go to the video section on fiverr and make sure you sort by rating so you know you're getting a good quality video.

Most of the producers have perfected one sequence of video that they keep customizing to suit the needs of all the new different buyers. So just go through a few of the gigs (most of them have a video of what they will create for you) and pick the one you like!

    Good luck.

Thanks for the tip. I just went there and found some decent looking options including professional voice overs for $5.

I use Camtasia for mine. I write my script, record it, slice it up and then lay it all down and record the video bit by bit. Takes a few hours but I quite like the results and it always feels good once you finish it.

There is a really good product out on the nuts and bolts of producing amazing vids by Jason Fladlen. It's called something like video mystic. I found it really useful and it only takes like 20-30 mins to read because it's so short.

That being said, the most professional vids you will find will be maid through Adobe after effects.

Just buy the templates that you like and have someone make you a nice video on fiverr. There are many people offering to edit templates.

Yes that's a great method. Find good templates on videohive.net, then get someone on fiverr.com who knows After Effects to put the video together. You just need to provide the images and words.

I too use Animoto, but combine it with Camtasia. Animoto is great for intros and snippets of info. You can create longer slides with voice-overs in Camtasia and upload the Camtasia video to your Animoto slide show. It's a good combination for getting good-looking videos out fairly quickly.

Probably one of Animoto's best features is the music library - huge selection of decent tracks.

Currently, I'm still using camtasia. but if youre sort of lack of passion or creativity, you can outsource it to someone at fiverr. I've used one of them. I asked her to make an artificial review of a clickbank product I promote. She was good but I also saw a gig which offers to make a professional animation video to promote your own website. Best of all. they're only 5 bucks

I think the obvious answer to how to create professional videos is.. you need to be a professional, which does not happen over night.

Now, it depends what you understand by professional - for just the basic stuff, you can get away with just Camtasia or Windows Movie Maker (or some equivalent on Mac, don't remember the name) and make a smooth elegant video.

If by professional - you mean a video with cool animations, cool graphics and everything, - like the ones Grumo Media produces for example (or even us ) - that's a whole different thing. It involves using After Effects for the animations and Illustrator for the graphics - learning that does not happen over night and takes a lot of tutorials.

So, I think your best bet would be to outsource this task.

Hire the best person off Fiverr, then have them make all your vids. You send them the audio and rough footage, they compile it together to make smexy vids.

    Best $5 you'll ever spends.

Go get a MiniDV tape camcorder, no better video quality can be had, unless you want a HD camcorder and then to match the former, you better be prepared to spend in excess of $3500. Then go get a $ 89 digital camera to take pictures with. You will be better off if you do that. If you want to go DSLR, better have one good rocking Multi core computer with a Big 1 GB video card and separate sound card, if you ever want to edit videos form a DSLR.
