You can set up a gig on fiverr to for people to tweet out to your followers. There are many gigs on fiverr doing exactly this.

This is depending on what niche all your followers are in. And how you choose to interact with them.

But it's an option and an easy way to make some quick cash.

You should sign up with a site like Twellow or Twibes to get more followers. Then whenever you create new content, post a notification on your Twitter page and tell people to check it out. You should be active with your Twitter account... making around 5 posts per day.

I, too have 10,000 Twitter followers. I can tell you that there is very little value there. Twitterville has way too many spammers, and few real people. I get 2-3 times the interaction from the 280 who have me circled in Google +. Sounds cynical? No, just my experience...and that of many of my friends.

It's what you do when no one is watching
that determines what you will be able to
    do when everyone is watching.

I also have over 10,000 followers on twitter. Great way to communicate with people but I haven't bothered in monetizing it since I am already making money via other means and don't have the time for Twitter, something that doesn't have a promising ROI.

Twitter traffic is junk as is most social media traffic. People on twitter aren't in a buyer frame of mind. So if you post an affiliate link, they may click over to your site but their not going to buy anything.

Now when that person does want to buy something they will go to Google or Bing and type in what they want - that's buyer traffic that converts.

Sorry pal, but people don't want to be sold anything on Twitter. It's like trying to sell a business opportunity to someone at a school football game, awkward as hell, and awfully rude.

Use twitter to build REAL relationships with people who have the ability or positioning to double or triple your business.

Build your followers, make sure you don't just spam them with offers all day long. Make more than just posts about products or CPA offers every 5 minutes. Give them things they want to read about. Make it look like a natural twitter account that is just on there to socialize like anyone else. This will make people more likely to look at your offers when you do give them and less likely to unfollow you.

You can sell your tweets in buysellads, although for making a good amount you need to be in a good niche and have a good a number of followers.

Couldn't you just buy followers and tweet to them? Seems like they would have a hard time regulating.

I have around 3,000 followers which I have built up over time.

I have not made a penny with twitter directly.

But I tweet my videos, (that's easy from YouTube), my blog posts, interviews, my new web pages, some of my squeeze pages, and some of my products. I tweet about all of my new content.

I have tried recently to make more meaningful tweets.

And I try to retweet things I like, I find interesting or of interest to my followers.

I generally delete people who do not follow me although there are a few people who I follow anyway.

So to sum up... as far a I know, I have not made any money from twitter directly. I have been able to connect with folks who I would not generally be able to connect with.
I will continue to use twitter as another tool in my Internet Marketing Arsenal..

It depends greatly on who those 10k followers are and how much credibility you have with them. Follow the 10 to 1 rule (10 helpful, informative or useful tweets to 1 promotional) and see what happens. Twitter traffic is definitely low converting compared to many other forms, but you can definitely make money with it.

If you're going to get them to a landing page and collect emails, I would say don't use CPA. Maybe give them a series of lessons or something of value and then offer something that pays better.
