I am working on a video sharing website and need to add a privacy policy, disclaimer, terms of use, etc. Does anyone know where I can find templates?

        NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I hope that was loud enough

You should absolutely not use that junk. It could be worse than not having any policy.

You can't go wrong using the suggestions of Brian. He 100% knows his stuff on this very important issue.

I hope you clarify why you're so concerned about these sites?

He's concerned because he's an attorney, and he sells a product for this. I bought it and was very pleased.

Also bought the Legal Forms Generator by Mike Young, also an attorney.

Either of these solutions are WAY better than those free disclaimer sites. They are way too general and can do more harm than good, lulling people into believing they would be protected by them.

Let me clarify the prior post....

I'm not concerned because I sell a disclaimer product. My product was created, primarily for Warriors, because of my concern about junk like Digital Priority and the detrimental effect it could have for Warriors.

I believe the Digital Priority site's own junk disclaimer refers to application of the state and federal laws of the Sudan, and suing in Sudan, etc. - even though the company is supposedly here in California.

              Check out this unbelievable mess:

              PriorityDigital.com v1.5

Personally, I don't think a sane person created that monster.

As I set out in my guide, with disclaimers and website terms there are certain goals you want to accomplish to protect yourself and, in some instances, maybe prevent a lawsuit from even being filed. Unfortunately, some of these free disclaimers created by some numnut (technical legal jargon) will not accomplish your goals, and may in fact have the opposite effect of what you wanted.
