Doing this yet? Reminder re Affiliate notification in emails, sites
With the recent regulatory changes, I believe that it's required to disclose affiliate relationships in emails -- yet I'm largely not seeing this, at least in my industry. Are you all seeing people correctly disclose affiliate relationships, in site links and email cross promos?
When promoting for others, I always have in my email somewhere wording to the effect that "Links in this email contain an affiliate link, for which I receive a commission if a sale is made.". And I have the same on my sites where there's partner affiliate links.
Why isn't everyone doing this? I thought it was required per new ftc regs.
