Amazon S3 files and Flowplayer

Hi chaps and chapesses ...

Sorry if this sounds a bit basic but I've just started using Amazon S3 to host my audios and videos.

Can any of you guys tell me how to find the path to the files stored on the S3 site so that it can be called by the respective players on my product page?

In this case it is flowplayer

I think you have to put the flowlayer script in the bucket with the .mp4 or mp3 - am I correct?

Can any of you experts recommend a site or course that explains these things as the Amazon web tutorials are not that clear?

Hi Carl,

1) files on S3 normally follow this convention:
http://your-bucket-name.s3.amazonaws...name.extension

2) Download the Free S3 browser from Cloudberry at: CloudBerry Lab - Cloud Backup & Free Amazon S3 Client
-- That will help you better manage your S3 files and retrieve appropriate link/urls

3) Flowplayer doesn't have to go in your bucket. It can reside on your server. But you can put it on S3 if it benefits you.

Also Carl you may want to install Amazon CloudFront - it's an awesome service and speeds things up, literally!

Is this PC only ?? I have a Mac - I did download the S3 fox but haven't used it yet.

Thanks guys - I tried the S3 Fox organiser but it keeps asking for secret codes and access codes - not sure what the secret code is?
