Safe-Swaps - Is unlimited ad-swaps worth the money?

Hi everyone,

i have been lurking around the forum for a long time, i joined to ask about list building. I bought a report a while ago and it said the easiest way to build up your list is to join a site like Safe-Swaps

Have any of you used this before? Its a monthly fee based site so i want to know if it is worth it before i purchase. I have seen some users with lists of thousands using the site but for all i know they could just be signed up to sell solo ads. I have been told people can build lists of thousands using this site and hence earn some good money.

If anyone has used it please let me know what it is like, i would love to try it out but i dont want to waste money. I will rpobably end up buying it anyway but it would be great to hear what you guys have gotten from it!

Best Regards - John

Yes. Safe-Swaps is an excellent list-building tool for those in the IM niche. I had joint it initially while I was operating in a different niche - but I have realized that there are manifold benefits if you are one of those with an IM list. So I feel you should go ahead with it - there are also some awesome solo ad sellers out there.

If you can convert leads into $ then yes, it's a good investment.

I like it because it's pure profit.

You can even use the free ad swaps to test your sales material before you decide to buy cold traffic.

    It's very low risk.

Ad-Swaps can be a very dangerous game.

I'm not saying that everyone does this, but it is very common in that particular niche.

    Here's the con:

[1] Person sets up a nice looking squeeze page offering something free in the 'make money' niche.

[2] Buys page views from adf.ly (world wide)

[3] Gets sign-ups because in that 'demographic' those people will signup for just about anything free - The problem is that they are not buyers and no, you cannot force them to become buyers no matter how amazing your offer is.

[4] Now the marketer takes his valid yet junk list over to places for ad swapping and starts swapping.

Getting this?.... He is mailing out for you to a junk list that will get you no roi, yet you are mailing for him using a real list that does get roi.

Now, if you are the guy running the con, you can actually build up a decent list (not good, but decent), but if you are the guy on the other side, then you just gave away your list for nothing.

It's an age-old scam/con but it's alive and well in those places... Just putting this out there so that you can go in with your eyes open.

Safe Swaps tracks whether traffic is web based or if it comes from an e-mail list.

I agree, this type of stuff can happen. You'll come across bad and good adswappers.

But there are a lot of great people on safe-swaps, a lot of which can be potential jv partners.

Overall, I'm happy with safe-swaps because I am able to monetize the new subscribers I get from there.

Dude, I appreciate that. I use safe-swaps regularly and always
had a haunting suspicion that some of my swap partners use "junk" traffic like adfly.

I just joined myself and just setup my 1st solo ad. I'm mainly an offliner with a few adsense sites but I'd just like to have my fingers into more and I'm getting to the point of making a WSO to start selling so having a list pre-built in should pay off. All that said a wish you great success in your online ventures

  • I can just give a thumb up for Safe-Swaps, because I used it in the past, and I got a lot of contacts in my IM lists. So if you are also running an internet marketing list, use it with other similar tools for grabbing best results.

And safe-swaps does have a feedback rating system so you can get a good idea of who the bad and good adswappers are.

ive not even bothered with it

i like to steer clear of anything which every man and his dog know about, instead i like to build my own list of solo ads which prove to be profitable time and time again

i think nearly every warrior on here knows about safe swaps so for that reason i steer clear of them

all i do now is collect my own list of solo ads, and im always coming across new solo ad providers so i just then add them to my list

I'm very happy with Safe Swaps.
Solo Ads and (targetted) Ad Swaps can really be a good addition to your list building strategy and Safe Swaps seems to me to be the best site to do both.

I use Safe Swaps and it's the best investment I've made to date (as you can see in my sig. I've been a member just over 3 months now and I'm at 2000 subs. The money I've made has paid for the monthly fee several time over already.

If you are careful about the frequency of your swaps and the content of same then it can be great.

Don't abuse your list however in an attempt to increase numbers as it may be counter effective in the long run.

i have never used safe list and never tried safe list, why safe-swaps is different from others.. do you know how many members are there in the safe-swaps list..

What I know it is a just email blast and it is probability game. if you send 1000 emails you will get traffic and probably some conversion..

Anybody successful with it, if you are than how long you are successful with it..
