Hey thanks for the reply, and letting me know i cant pm anyone.. haha.

my site is zeekstars . com

the purpose of it is to try to get affiliates for my zeek rewards business, and to just have a place for current affiliates to communicate.

I have been thinking about putting adsense on my site or something else that could generate some income.

Hi Robbie, no problem.

A couple questions you need to ask yourself- how do you intend on getting traffic to your site? Organically (via search engines) referrals from people or websites, or PPC methods?

If organic you want to find a good keyword to target, and do proper SEO from there. (H1 tags, title, meta, link building) That means building quality articles based upon the keyword as well as any long tail keywords that follow.

On first recommendation though, I would add much longer posts to your homepage. IMO, you want at least 800 words of quality content on the home page alone.

From there, keep building quality unique content that you think will engage your targeted audience. Give me your email and I can send you a couple of my sites to take a look at that might help inspire you a bit. Make sure to put it in the form of email[at]domain.com or something similar so it cant be picked up by bots.

  Long tail are the keywords for for instance specific pages of your site.
  
  If your main site is "Vacuum Reviews"
  
  a long tail keyword would be something like: Best Vacuum for Apartments
  
  or something that receives a decent amount of searches.

Yeah I have been trying out 7search, and not had great results. but maybe it just my keywords, or my ads could be better written.

hi robbie nice little site you have started there but there is 2 main problems i can see straight of.
1. there is a spelling mistake on the very start of your page(Might want to spell check the site again just to make sure there is no other spelling mistakes.)
2.i have no idea what you where promoting i know you where promoting something but have no idea what it was so would need to leave your site to find out what the product was.(so you could be loosing alot of customers there buddy.

thank you for your input! That was something I have worried about, I updated my home page a bit to try to make it obvious what I am promoting, though it is kind of hard to do with this affiliate program as it is a very new concept.

Robbie, find a good keyword that gets searched for related to the topic with low competition and make it your H1 tag. Also include this keyword within your articles, and bold them at least once or twice to represent they are in important to search engines. Include it also within your page title as well as your page description.

The site looks pretty dull.
longer contents with interesting titles are also needed.
use images, share buttons, seo plugins etc etc...
but have some color in the site.

A better headline is needed. Make the opt-in email box more prominent on your site... even consider putting a "lightbox" hover ad on the home page. The right side of your website needs to be cleaned up a bit.

More interesting titles
H1 tags with good keywords
bold important terms
more images, social media, plugins, and color.
more content.
streamline right hand side of page.

I am interested in seeing more of your guys' personal sites for inspiration!
