Okay to use different pages on one domain?

Are there any drawbacks to using different pages on the same domain for different purposes? For example, one page for a squeeze, one page for a sales page, and one or a blog? Thank you.

No. Nothing wrong with that at all. Websites with blog, sales info, and "squeeze page"(a page with special offer and optin form) can work well for you. I do it. But I also have a number of different squeeze pages for more lead generation.

I can only think that a hard sell squeeze page using all the marketing traps might get the whole site de-indexed.

But it's more likely there wold be a positive effect, having useful content can improve the PPC page rank of a sales page on the same domain name, some SEO gurus speak of a rising tide raising all ships, that is a blog with strong SEO content will tend to benefit all pages.

No, its totally safe and natural. Most websites have multiple pages for their different targets and its normal and has no problem. I think its better than placing a lot of content only on one page that confuses visitors.

As long as all of the pages are related in some way it shouldn't be a problem.
