Please teach me how to promote Industrial Products online

Hi Guys

I just started a small industrial products distribution business.

My only form of advertising is through adwords, and because I'm competing against the big boys, I'm spending lots of money on adwords.

I really hope helpful members can teach me some free or cheaper methods of promoting my products online.

    How many searches a month are there for your product(s)

    If there are too few searches then you'll need to promote using other advertising methods.

      Sorry, I have no idea how many searches for my products.

      But I hope someone can teach me advertising methods that are free or cheaper than adwords.

    Other warriors are already successful in similar niches.

    If you cannot write the high quality technical articles yourself,
    then you will have to pay someone to do it, but in the long run
    (and perhaps even in the short run) it will be far less expensive
    than AdWords.

    Its not necessary that you will get success in Adword. actually success rate is not too much. so i suggest other methods of advertising. like SEO and others by which you can get visitors to your landing page.

    If you are spending too much on Adwords, you can keep your expenses down by analyzing and filtering the search terms (keywords) you are bidding on. For instance, if you are selling blue widgets, do not bid on keywords like "widgets, blue widgets", etc.

    Such broad terms are known to: 1) very badly convert, and 2) be very costly due to the high search volume and the number of clicks you will get. Instead, try and bid on terms like "best blue widgets, cheapest blue widgets, etc." which will be much more targeted.

    You can use the Google Keyword tool to learn the search volume for each keyword and then carefully choose the ones you will bid on.

    One last thing, you don't need to be in the first position for every search. Try to lower your maximum bids; if you're in 3rd or 4th position, you may still get decent traffic and pay a lot less.

    First of all who are you targeting?

    Secondly, Adwords is only expensive if you don't know what you're doing. The thing is when you create higher quality ads, you get lower costs per click.

    You might also think about participating in industry relevant forums. Answer questions on the forums, be helpful to people, have a link to your website in your signature or profile page.
    You can get a lot of free traffic that way. Some niches are better than others for this, so I'm not sure how well it will work for you, but it's an idea for free traffic.
