I would go for Dog.Training, because it's containing your keywords separated so that search engines including big G will happily understand.
    Just my 2c.

I'm no SEO expert, but as far as I know, the keywords are not "Dog" and "Training",
but the single keyword here is "Dog Training".

I'd use the first one, it looks neat and it is easy to remember.

I do not think the dot matters. Dog.Training and DogTraining would be the same to Google. I would go with "DogTraining".

I always use facebook URL without dot.
In my humble opinion, people will easy remember DogTraining than Dog.Training.

Definetly the first one...it looks a lot nicer and like Andhyka Wijaya said, it's easier to remember.

Another vote for DogTraining. Any time you can get an exact match like that without punctuation, take it.

      Yes, this is the point.

However, how often does Facebook *really* come up in their biggest competitors search results? I almost NEVER see it.

So perhaps you be asking yourself, "what's easiest for real people to type if they're looking for it."

I always prefer to use the one without dot.
In my case it has worked very well with dot and has generated much more targeted traffic.
