I Have an Idea For an Ebook

I got some items off ebay for a penny and am addicted to getting more - if I get a hundred items or so I could write an ebook about how I did it - yes? No?

I'm talking some decent stuff and some crap, but all a penny with free postage - how would you approach this, if you would at all?

I though selling such an ebook on ebay would be good - what would need considering?

Any thoughts welcome. I'm not an internet marketer, but have done a bit of it - I can write reasonably well if that will help.

    What kind of stuff are we talking here?

    Is it a certain strategy that nets these items at a penny, or are we talking dumb luck?

    Those are the first two questions I would answer. If you can do so satisfactorily, I feel it would be something worth pursuing.

      Because you expect to make good money from it?

    • Jewellery worth a pound or two, travel adapters, screen protectors, cable winders for CD etc, 10 guitar plectrums, damaged toy soldier etc.

      Dumb luck to start with then a strategy.
  • I'm sure there are people out there who would be interested in this kind of thing.

    I doubt it would be something that would make you a fortune, but if you're passionate about it and feel you could write a quality book, go for it!

    Maybe you could turn it into a Dave Gorman style adventure documenting the story behind each purchase to provide a bit more interest, rather than simply writing a guide that could turn out to be rather dry?

      How much to sell for? Auction or Buy Now? How about photos/copyright/permissions? Use ebay pics plus my own?
  • The issue I see is, an ebook like that, would likely only go for a few bucks at best....so it would have to be more of a 'labor of love', imo.
