Your favorite option for digital delivery/fulfillment? (for an e-course)

Hello All-

I've searched the forum about this, and so far the best info I found posted was this: http://blog.outsourcefactor.com/digi...for-beginners/

Would you folks be so kind as to share your favorite options (aka what you feel is the best) for digital product delivery?

Within 4wks time, I am going to start selling my first digital product, and want to make sure I am using the proper digital delivery system. The product will consists of about 7 "modules" each with avi files and accompanying pdf files.

What are the best options available to me?

Thank you much in advance.

Wordpress as CMS with OptimizePress theme to build-out the members area.

Then, you'll need to decide on the membership/digital delivery solution:

    FREE: S2 Member plugin
    CHEAP: WP Sales Automator plugin
    PRO: DAP, RAP/RAP Press, Nanacast

SCALE: Amazon S3 for downloadable media + EasyVideoPlayer

    Member's Area Deliverables:

Don't deliver AVI files, encode them with H.264 into MP4's that will work with all modern browsers and mobile devices. 720x480 aspect ratio works beautifully inside OptimizePress membership template pages.

Bounce out an MP3 Audio from each video (64k Mono is fine and small file size)

    Fastest membership course ever!

    LOL, hope this helps.

Awesome info. Thanks much. Question... I wasn't planning on having a membership area of the site. Rather, just having the files password protected. Can you give a bit of info on the benefit of having it a membership site?

Delivery: I want to plan for scale, so I'll probably go Amazon S3 out the gate. Will start to research this.

MP4 instead of AVI: no problem. I want the vids to work on as many platforms as possible.

MP3 Audio file: I assume this is just a supplemental "value add" for the customers? In that, it is exactly the same content as the MP4, but just without the video. I am understanding you correctly, right?

Thanks again for the great info.

Excellent. I was just doing research here on Warrior to understand the mechanics between using WP, Optimizepress, and Nanacast and your post told me what I needed to know. Thanks.

Not sure if i understand your question. Create a download page and link to your product. For services that can handle your downloads, consider Clickbank, Paydotcom, Payloadz, or Tradebit.

To clarify, I am asking about the best way to handle the delivery of the good. Right now, I am planning on having the info listed on a download page as you note. The thing I'm looking for some insights on is the best service to work with to with for handling the delivery of the items... i.e. what interfaces are best to handle fulfillment.

      Things like security, storage, etc.

This is my first product, and while I don't want to over think it, I do want to leverage all the brains and experience here. So any additional recommendations you have are appreciated.

Regarding Clickbank, Paydotcom, Payloadz, or Tradebit... after I get some metrics from my initial campaigns & optimize my creative a bit, I plan on taking it to Clickbank. I will check out the other resources you've listed as well though. Thanks.

That you all for the great replies. It looks like there are a many options available beyond what my initial research uncovered. For sake of keeping things easy to read, I am going to address each person in separate posts.

All i do is upload all my products to amazon s3 and then create a download link

I then put those download links on my download page

I then send my subscriber the link to the download page in their first email
    follow up

This is what i have been doing for over a year now and it works absolutely fine
