Does PayPal Website Payments Pro work with Infusionsoft integration?

Hi folks,

We're in the process of setting up a payments system with our WordPress site and Infusionsoft account, and wondered if anyone knows if PayPal Website Payments Pro works with Infusionsoft?

We'll check in with Infusionsoft again tomorrow, but jut thought to check in here, in case someone can provide a quick heads up either way, without putting you to any trouble.

Thanks for any quick tips - much appreciated!

Best wishes from Scotland,

Matthew

Arrrgh - this thread title should read:

"Does PayPal Website Payments Pro work with Infusionsoft?"

[Forget the word "Integration" - I accidentally hit return before editing. Grrr...]

Works fine. I have been running that combination for a few years.

Yes it does. It also integrates with Authorize.net and other gateways which enables you to move to direct deposit banking.

By securing a pre-approved merchant account specifically for your business, you can prevent PayPal limitations and account seizures. Also, Infusionsoft has the perception that it is the best platform for successful marketing.

There are better options without the levels of complication either.

    Hi, Matthew!

Yes, we are compatible with PayPal Payflow Pro. Specifically, this:
    https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?c...way_payflowpro

What this does, is it basically turns your PayPal account into a merchant gateway. Always a good idea to check around for rates and processing fees because I know that PayPal is not the cheapest around.

You can still accept basic PayPal payments for one-time orders and not subscriptions with the built-in PayPal payment options in Infusionsoft.

See this Infusionsoft Help article for a list of compatible merchant gateways:

    Hope this helps!

In the US it is called PayPal Payflow Pro and in the UK they call it Website Payments Pro - either way it is PayPal's merchant account facility that allows your visitors to pay by credit card.

Often people think that Infusionsoft combined with Payflow Pro will allow them to take payments from buyers who want to use their PayPal account proper for subscriptions. But it doesn't.

We have a WordPress plugin that does allow subscriptions, payment plans (and one off payments) to be processed via PayPal itself, rather than just acting as a gateway for credit card processing.

This only requires PayPal's free Website Payments Standard. Our solution even works if you don't currently use WordPress ....

JVManna, I have an Infusionsoft question. I have a membership service..all recurring billing. Currently we use Paypal Web Payments Pro as the merchant account and PayPal standard as well. The problem I am running into with my current cart is with affiliates. Since Paypal recurring payments on Paypal side, not cart side, we have to manually adjust payments by going into paypal for each customer to calculate affiliate commissions. Total pain. I need a system that will track all payments and make sure my affiliates are up to date. Does Infusionsoft do this with paypal payments on recurring billing?

      Thanks

      Michael
