Clickbank problems for vendors?

We've all seen the posts about clickbank having trouble keeping track of affiliate commissions, and any affiliate who has spent a good deal of time in the game knows this first hand.

But has there been problems with payment processing selling your own product (no affiliate link) directly through clickbank using their payment form and processor.

I ask because my sales are consistently strange and there really isn't any reason it should be. One day I'm easily converting between 4% and 5% then the next the same and so on and then like clockwork every couple of days or so I'm converting at like .5% with double the traffic. Something isn't making any sense...

Anyone personally experienced and knows of Clickbanks payment processor issues?
Much thanks in advance!

I'd actually like to see some comments on this as well as I have been experiencing very similar anomalies with some of my own products on Clickbank.

    Anyone else see this happening?

Looks like I'm not the only one! I'm really considering switching payment processors to 2checkout just for a test. I would go the paypal route but I hate only offering paypal it hurts my conversions. I really do believe that theres something going on with their payment systems. There is just too much data that doesn't make sense. Yesterday for example was my highest traffic day ever (this over the course of three months) for that particular site and product and my VERY normal conversion rate of 3%-4% went to about .5%.

      Anyone else?

I get similar results when looking at day to day stats. One day I make a killing, next hardly anything.

From what I've seen this is pretty normal. A huge influx of buyers is often followed by a lull.

When I look at my fortnightly stats, though, it's all pretty consistant.

Speaking for my own account, yes I do see highs and lows from day to day, but when looking at a longer length of time, it's all reasonably consistant.

    Hope this helps!

    cheers

Hi Sam - Long time no speak!

I have to say that I am getting a bit concerned about the Clickbank thing at the moment. It's really weird, some products of mine (more than one) that I stone cold KNOW convert very well, have been showing very poor conversions since the New Year.
Just too bad to be real.

I know we are in a world recession, but like I say, just to bad to be true.

    Very, very strange.
