What do you think of FacebookMoms?

I have a domain up for renewal and never did anything with it. Not sure I should renew it, do something with it or sell it.

What are your opinions and thoughts?

(the domain is facebookmoms.com)

Cool domain. Maybe write share-bait articles that will appeal to Moms and then build up a big group of Mom related pages sharing news, articles, discounts etc around the network.

You could do lots of stuff with it I'm sure!

I'd let it expire. Domains containing a trademark are never a good idea.

Yes, I'm actually surprised you could even register that domain. I had a client try to register a domain with the word "Facebook" in it and the registrar (I think he was using hostgator) wouldn't let him register it due to trademark infringement.

^ This. Dump that domain before the lawyers come a-knocking.

That's right. You're dealing with a copyright infringement here. Let it expire.

You're probably lucky you didn't use it. Facebook is aggressive against violation of their trademark.

It's a blatant TM violation. At best, you could expect a UDRP, and at worst FB could come after you without bothering with a UDRP. You also have serious potential liability if you sell it to someone else. Dump it!

You will soon receive a Copyright Infringement Email. I had once a Domain related to this and I received a Copyright Infringement Email.

I completely agree - this is copyright infringement and you will soon be hearing from someone about it. I am really surprised you haven't already. Let this one expire and stay away from names like this in the future.

Yep. You're treading on thin ice with that domain. You could have possibly faced serious liability issues already. You're lucky.

    Let it go.

Just to make it clear: it's not a copyright infringement at all it's a TM infringement.
