Are these blogs worth PageRank 9?

I came across some blogs with PageRank 9 which seems suspicious to me after visiting them.

Does anyone have an idea how is this possible?

Unsreen.Info | Blog For Health - PR9 - 801 index pages
http://dailynewssoccer.info/ - PR9 - 181 index pages
Review on Computer & Technology - PR9 - 288 index pages

How strange this is for you?

I don't think there's anything strange if a non-fancy looking blog acquired a good page rank. I saw each of them and they all have good amount of content without any advertising (except soccer website).

I find them suspicious as well, honestly. While I agree that there is nothing strange or suspicious about a non-fancy looking blog getting a high page rank, I have to say that the quality of the content on at least two of these sites is generally low-quality. Many of the blog post titles in the first site don't make much grammatical sense whatsoever and appear to have been generated using a spinning software. I think they seem odd too, personally.

Yep, doesn't seem legit to me as well. Agree with Ash. Quality of content is quite poor.

    DailyNewsSoccer.info is a PR9? LOL

This is not legit at all. I just have a look on the alexa links and it doesn't have more than 70 backlinks. And the quality of the links are between PR 0 and 1, the best backlink is from one PR 4 website. Also the pagerank could not be validated using a pagerank checker tool.

    just check the page rank
    Unsreen.Info has Page rank: NA

I just checked it with two different checkers and both of them said PR9 for this domain. Pretty ridiculous. It's just spun content.

Took a chance they are legit - SEO Quake just told me they are - and posted a blog comment on all three!

Now, expect a lot of comments on these pages. Though, I find it to be a bit fishy but SEO Quake indeed tells me that all are PR9

Just shows you how irrelevant pagerank really is. From unsreen.info/

The term insurance is some of those words which just enables you to cringe. Next in order to putting gas inside your car it appears as though the greatest expense you’ve and there’s just a lot that you’ll require. You have to keep insurance in your car (it might have already been really good if somebody might have told how large a monetary drain that would be), if you have a house you spend homeowners insurance coverage, if a person rent a condo you possess renters insurance coverage, you have a problem with the actually soaring price of medical care insurance, and if you’re a truly responsible member of the family you have life insurance coverage. And now you discover you tend to be hearing that you ought to consider investing in a health insurance policy for your dog dog.

You can fake PR easily, you know that right? I remember it being discussed in another thread.

I think you just forward your URL (via 303, I think) to a real PR 9 website then wait for Google to index your site as PR 9 and quickly change your content. However, when Google indexes your website again it'll be back to PR 0.

In that case this is some new way of faking Pagerank, because I've checked these with my ordinary Fake PR methods and these come up as valid.

I'm pretty sure that PR9 has a lot to do with backlinks, according to my experience PR9 domains has many high PR backlinks.

However, something tells me these are fake but I'm not sure how they have done it if that's the case. But I guess anything is possible so it's hard to know.

Daily News Soccer - I'd love to know what this blog is all about,
cause it certainly is not about Daily Soccer News

This sounds like the best explanation so far.

After the recent Google Pagerank update these blogs still managed to maintain a decent pagerank of 5-6.
Don't know how it is done, but this is something brilliant!

They both look like they belong to a network of blogs, built for SEO and nothing else... That's my opinion.

lol ... what a shock. It was probably fake pagerank to start with, which will always drop once the redirect is taken away.

Sorry but none of them are PR 9 , only 4,5,6 and the first one has 2,500 indexed pages.

Data from Seo Quake for chrome.

And the blogs are used for articles with links so you can buy from them backlinks.
