    You mean using paid Ads on FB? I suppose how much you pay depends on how competitive the terms are you're advertising.

    I used FB ads to start my MMA list and had good results.

    You may pay a little more, but you can be very precise with who you target (age, gender, location, interests etc), so I'd say it's worth it.

    I usually start with CPC not CPM...and you can set a budget too...make sure it is really targetted - so choose interests the person who would buy your product would probably like...you can use Quantcast.com to check demographics and interests...but more targeted ads...this will increase your CPC, so you need to test several different ads....like 20 - 50 different ads...for 1 campaign...
