What hashtag for Twitter is better?

I'm using tools like whatthetrend.com and twubs.com to find popular hashtags for my tweets on twitter. But what strategy is better to get more twitter followers? To have smaller less popular hashtags that relate 'exactly' to your tweets? Or, is it better to break up the hashtags into two because the two words independently have much larger groups and have 'something' to do with the tweet?

For example, my tweet might be "Really diggin this great book about money." Which of the following two hashtags would be better? And, why?

Really diggin this great book about money #money #book

or

Really diggin this great book about money #moneybook

Thanks in advance for your opinion.

I use Twitter socially and not as a customer, so can't really tell you which one is going to make people think "Hm, I want to buy". I can tell you though that splitting up is probably not going to get the same "targeted" audience that you are looking for as "money" and "book" separately cover a lot wider range of tweets. At least "moneybook" narrows it down a bit.
