Hi

Being a user on WF im sure youve sent threads asking how to do something tand looking for guidance, or even provided users with a helping hand

I always knew this but since I've been here at WF it reminded me and made me realize I was doing it a little.

It would be impossible to select the "best" advice, but some great advice I got years ago in this forum was to use paid advertising. Start small, test conversions, and then scale up and be willilng to lose money in the beginning in order to find those winning campaigns.

Another Warrior, back in 2000 or so, advised me to continue making products for any hungry niche, because "I guarantee it, you won't be able to make them fast enough if you crank out quality".

That always made an impression on me, even more so when I actually started doing it and saw that he was right.

Lastly, some great advice I also got was to sell high-ticket items because they are nearly as easy to sell as lower-priced ticket items.

Really?? That's " The best advice" you have to offer?

        OP:

        1- Build A List

        2- Invest in paid traffic.

3- Learn from successful people and flow their foot steps.

4- Get you a mentor-- even Bill Gates had someone to learn from.

        Best of Luck.

I'm not sure if I actually read it on the Warriorforum or not, but the best information I've ever read about Internet Marketing is "do it." So many people read and read and make plans, but they never just try it. I was in that boat for a long time, you can be an IM genius, but it won't do you any good until you take action.

Well actually, it wasn't a piece of information that was outright told to me. It was a message conveyed through an action.

You see when I first started to try to be active on the forum, I fell into the silly trap of thinking my signature would be the best way to pull in money. The same day that I had that epiphany was the same day I learned about the WSOPro system.

So being the naive person I was (who was too smart to need to read some arbitrary forum rules) I stuck some affiliate links in my signature and it was "one liners away".

That earned me a nice little weekend vacation by the end of the night.

The message that this slap on the wrist came with has stuck with me since: You can play around and try to get by with "on the sly" methods; but you will get caught eventually and you will face consequences.

I'd like to believe that has helped me come a long way since.

The best thing I ever heard. . . Well it did not come from the Internet. You see, we did not have public access at that time. Many years ago, I do believe it was around 1989 or so, my job was to sell Rainbow Systems. My boss was a total "I'll get it done guy." One night, when we were in a restaurant having supper, I asked him. . . "What is the secret to making money?" His answer as follows,
"There is all this money out there and when you want some, you just go get it."

That's been my way of thinking for several years now and it is so true. There is TON of money out there and all you need is a cool product, desire, motivation, and the patience to follow through with your plan.
