I want advice about a .xxx famous city domain

Hi everyone i want advice on a domain with a .xxx extension.
I don't know whether to buy it or not. I was searching domains and found a famous city still available even though pretty much all others aren't. So this one either hasn't been taken for some odd reason or has been dropped. The dilemma is the extension as i don't like that industry and therefore could i just buy it with a view to sell it on as a domain investor like other extensions or would you guys in my position say i wouldn't get involved. Finally would you think it could be valuable, i mean hotels.xxx is on sale on sedo and already has 20 bids and which respectable company would put a site up about it surely it's just a domain sale like with any other extension?

    XXX pretty much means 'explicit hard core sex' inside. That will limit your market.

      But many people are registering just to protect brands and hold onto them would that not be a possibility here, to buy the domain and flip it on with that mindset?

        but it's a major world city and if there was a limit on the market why are pretty much all others taken am i missing something. Why can't we overlook the extension almost or with this extension is it just impossible?

          But its a trend, people consider .xxx sites as adult sites.

            I understand that but if it's a city surely no one can think it's an adult related site it's just a city. Like hotels.xxx which is on sale on sedo and going for a lot it seems, why would people bid on it like you're saying there's no way that can be an adult site?
