KINDLE MARKETING

Ok, I am here today because I need help with marketing my kindle
weight loss e-book. I am looking for a good solid strategy to get
as many people to the Amazon site as possible ultimately using the search engines.
I have set up a content curated blog and had a designer build
a landing page. I am really looking for some major success with this that
is why I am here. The weight loss niche a very competitive, but its something
that I am really passionate about hence the reason I wrote a book about it. I hope
that I can get everyone's advice on this!

    i. Who is your target market?
    ii. How are you driving traffic to your list?

    Answer these questions, and try to build a funnel...why one product, when you can produce 2, 3, or 5 in a niche you're passionate about? This way, buyers that enjoy one title have more to buy from you.

    Without knowing any further details, this is the best advice I can give you.

      So, is that working for you?

      How many list members do you have? How many visitors? What's your visitor to conversion (as a list signup) rate? I am speaking about your landing page of course.

      Have you made sales?

      Do you have reviews?

      If what you're doing is working, then scale up.

      If it isn't working, keep testing.

    Do you have a subscriber list? You may know the saying, "The Money is in the List". It's a way to get your target audience to opt-in because they are already interested in what you have to sell them. I have found excellent results with Getresponse and then I used their sister company GetSubscribers to build my list.

    To help with your rankings I suggest lots and lots of backlinks to qualified sites and update your blog as often as possible. Search engines like fresh content.

    Amazon gets HUGE traffic so one of the main things you would need to do in order to get people to view and buy your book on Amazon (or elsewhere) is to build and publicize your brand.

    Do you have a blog, Twitter and FB account positioning yourself in the weight loss market? Are you branding yourself daily?

    I always like to give this example, because it's so good...Amanda Hocking, self made millionaire author on the Kindle...she didn't get there overnight. She posted to her blog every other day for TWO years (as well as other social media) building her "brand" and fan base which then made everything happen on the Kindle.

    Whenever you are setting up promotions for your books on Amazon, you should always set up a landing page for your marketing.

    Let your landing page be the doorway into your book's sales page on Amazon, and you promote your doorway.

    You want to do this for three reasons:

    1. You need to protect yourself from Amazon's bot that might misinterpret regular promotions for paid reviews and kill your author account;

    2. You don't want to promote Amazon directly, but rather promote your book;

    2. By having your own landing page, you get to better track what promotions are working and what ones are not, so that you can fine-tune your promotions.
