Aaaarrrgh! Need Help with OpenOffice3 PDF Forms

G'day Warriors,

I am trying to find information and tutorials on using OpenOffice3 Writer to add forms to PDF's, but not having much success. Adding the form is easy - getting it to do anything is the hard part.

I've lost faith in Google's ability to find anything usefull.

If you know of any decent resources, I'd really appreciate a link to them (or how to structure a search phrase which returns decent results).

Thanks

The openoffice website has an abundance of information and useful people that can help you. You can post your question there. When I couldn't download openoffice because I am on dialup and it would take over 15 hours, one of the people there sent me a cd so I could install...for free!
    They are great people!
I'd post a link, but I don't have enough posts here yet to do that...sorry and boo-hoo!

I've gone through the OpenOffice documents plus a few tutorials I found on other sites, but none of them give the full story.

You can add opt in forms, videos etc using Acrobat. OpenOffice3 has a lot more capability then previous version, and you can add data capture forms. The Documentation implies you can send POST data via a PDF form, but I can't find out how to send anything via an exported PDF.
