Paid traffic is not needed at all.

Do some solid keyword research and get some quality content up.
Keep posting new content on a regular basic.

Maybe their monitor is broken, since they can't see the letters, lol. Either way I have a headache from reading it.

But seriously, if you've been doing it this long as you don't see any results at all you should take time to re-evaluate what you've been doing.

I will suspect that returning traffic to your site has been shrinking over the last few months.

Your site is not effective in holding the reader's attention. It doesn't connect.

I am sure that you know about your subject matter more than anyone else, but as I see it, you are not able to express yourself well in writing.

    Try working on that.

I don't want to disappoint you or anything, but I'll be bluntly honest in how I see things:
    • you either put your !@#$ straight, start taking serious action and probably even get a coach to keep you accountable, give you some small achievable tasks to do one after another and to give you that extra kick in the butt to get things moving way faster than they are moving now
    • or you just quit, because if you've spent 2 years in Internet Marketing only to get a few visitors and if you're going to keep moving at the same speed for the following few years, you're not going to make a $ online

I suggest going with the first option; it's a hard ride, takes some $, but it's well worth it, you'll see I'm sure you've got motivation since you've been doing this for 2 years and haven't seen a $ yet, so keep going, but get serious about it!

It is important that you resort to link building procedures on a regular basis. Try new legal methods of building links to your website. Keep watching your analytics time and again. Keep an eye on the geographical regions of your visitors. Try demographic advertising too.

Sorry to say that the sites have a sort of "Junky" feel that the human reviewer component of the Panda filter system might not grade well.

The rather narrow template look seems old fashioned, there might be excessive keyword stuffing and underlinkng, who knows what the actual safe percentages are. There seem to be a lot of little banners. If getting search ranking and traffic is the issue you might think about providing more of a magazine look and less of the look of a catalog page, perhaps a change in themes would help modernize the look, also more images inserted in the body of articles and less visual clutter in the side bars would help the look.

The empty results from clicking on tag cloud words in the cake site might not be good for search ranking, while not dead links they do lead to low content pages.

Write better content. The bird feeder site has a very obvious typo in the header!

The content is also obviously made for SEO. So many people are overoptimising, it's child's play for Google to spot it.

You need to go where the people are. Put your site in front of them. What do i mean? Well Pinterest is huge right now and your niches are very suited to this sort of thing. Make some cup cakes and take some great photos and stick them on pinterest! Do the same with facebook. Go onto some cupcake forums and get chatting to people and say "hey check out my site" Document something. Actually majke some cup cakes and document what you did. Take photos put them up! Do a video add it to youtube!! There are tons of things you can do. you just got to hustle. Just having a website os not good enough!! I hope this helps. Check out my blog!

Just looking at the birdfeeder site:

    1) The whole site a little hard on the eyes and a little clunky. The slider is a little too big for my tastes.

    2) There is no easy navigation around the site

    3) I would put the Facebook sign up in the sidebar

    4) You do not have any of the legal pages (TOS, Contact Us etc) - I don't know if google takes these into consideration but it can't hurt.

    5) You should set up your permalinks with at least /%postname%/ - currently if I go to one of your pages its set to the default p=31

    6) You still need more content - 5 Posts is not much at all

    7) Your theme is linking to a Jeep and Toyota site - doesn't really go with birdfeeders.

Overall you're on the right track you just need to clean it up a bit really. Work on some of these small changes and keep adding content!

      hi,

just as most of those who gave comments to your sites, you need good text/content for them. your article for birdfeedersplans for example starts with an intro 'Bird feeders plans are available in various shapes and sizes.' Not good to catch the attention of your readers.

You also need to do a lot of backlinking since traffic is your main problem... submit to articles directories like goarticles.com, even if your english is bad it does not matter because it is automatically approved. but better if you will outsource instead. worth the money.

do backlinking and follow the advice of all those who have commented here.

      good luck

I am guessing English is not your first language…..

Have you considered targeting people by writing copy in your own mother tongue?

You see, if you are targeting an English speaking audience, they it will likely be US/UK/AUS and English will be their first language and any bad grammar will insure they likely navigate back and select another search result.

The same would apply if I tried to target the Spanish / German markets, my copy would look amateur at best.

As others have said, the visual appeal of your sites are really low. I actually like the idea of Bonsai as a niche but the website is not conducive to spending more than a few minutes on it.

Your biggest problem is you need better content!

Content is the meat of a site. It's why visitors visit. It's why they come back. It's why they share the site with their friends. It's why they buy your products!

Just because you may have found content at an extremely low price doesn't mean it's worth even one penny.

      Get yourself some good content.

Check your expectations. SEO is very slow most of the time. even then you can run an entire SEO campaign only to find that you didn't get a good keyword.

I suggest that you get some link diversity going on. Do some press releases, articles, forums. You want different types of backlinks from different websites.

If you do this for 3 months and don't see any purchases then you can try to flip your site on flippa. If you don't ever get quality traffic though then you are pretty much stuck with a loser.

      I hope that helps.

P.S. if you get stuck with a loser, maybe you should post a few more pages of content and then SEO those pages. Then turn monetize w/ adsense so that you can make a little money from the traffic that you get.

I saw only Birds Feeder Plan site
There are several problems with your site, note that I hardly know anything about bird feeder plan, I am giving you this advise on basis of my personal experience

Look And Feel Of Your Website
Your website have one of the worst layout to convert for traffic as well as money. The problem with your layout is
    - There is a big non-interesting slideshow below Title of your website and it covers almost full screen. I have never seen any affiliate site using Title and Banner(in your case slideshow) at same time. Use of both makes your website look unprofessional and uninteresting. Either use banner or use title don't use both. If you want banner make sure its height should not be above 240 - 250 pixels

    - Second is bad use of column. You have used three column design, there is no offense with three column but the way you have put it to use is. Your content column should cover more than 60 - 75% of pace and side columns must anyhow lie only in 25-40% of space. This is not any standard but usually any site not following this strategy looks dull.

    - There should be an image inside content and it must appear above fold.

    - The social sharing option widget you have placed actually appears static and inside post. It should stick on screen without hurting eyes of readers. Make necessary changes if your widget doesn't allow those changes try using Socialable.

    - Bad readability. Fonts used are small and hardly readable. Increase font size.

    - Your website practically have no navigation system. The main reason why people might never want to read anything when they'll visit your website.

Now Why You Aren't Getting Any Traffic
    - Bad on page SEO. You have left permalink setting default due to which all links on your site appear as p=12 and page=2. Change permalink setting to %postname%.
    - Your face book and twitter promotion tools are not above fold. They must be above fold or somewhere where people are guaranteed to take a look. Best place is either on side bar(which i personally prefer) or floating widget.
    - Practically no content. You have absolutely nothing on your website, on name on content there are only 5 posts that too are absolutely uncategorized. You need at least 10 - 15 posts properly categorized so that when people will visit your website and recommend others to visit.
    - Finally other guys have already commented that you don't have good content, I don't know anything about bird feeder plan so I can't really say anything about it, but if that's true then re-research your keywords and topics.

Why You Have Not Made Any Money
    - You have done no active promotion on your website. Placing banner add or slideshow doesn't mean active promotion.
    - You can write some good product reviews about different bird feeder plan and let them appear as featured post on home page. It is simplest thing I can recommend you as active mode of product promotion since you are newbie.

Finally if twitter and facebook is not working for you then try Stumble Upon. Join it use it daily at least for one hour, stumble only sites related to your niche, make friends and follow people who are interested in your niche. Make sure your friends on stumble upon are active members and have more than 50-100 followers and friend. When your friend list becomes more than 100, write an awesome content, note that it should not be good, it should not be better, it must be awesome. It must be pleasurable to read and appear as perfect eye candy to your niche lovers.

    Hello Kirzacash,
    I like the domain names.

Having said that, all three sites are not reachable right now. I have tried over the last ten minutes. No luck.

Lookit, forget pay per click. Organic SEO is what you need. Site unseen (a little humor) I can tell you that there is tons of design and SEO stuff for you on the net to help you with your problem. Or, if you are really serious and have the funds, a paid mentor would quickly get you over the hump.

Then again. A couple of years ago I myself learned a lesson. I was diddling around for a common key phrase when I came up with a dilly. I came up with a basic breakfast phrase that everyone uses, some daily, and proceeded to get the domain and built a site around it.

All was well and good until I came to the monetization part. For my life, I couldn't figger out what to sell on the darned site.

So there it still sits to this day #3 on Google, a stupendous key phrase, lots of hits and no way to make money with it that I can think of.

The lesson is that sometimes even GREAT sites aren't good money making sites. Sometimes folks are just looking for info. Sometimes it's about identifying what sells...not what's popular.

Not having seen your work, I don't have a clue where you sit. Anyway, you're at the right place to get insight about your sites.

The subject of each of your three sites is very visual. Use that to push your site - Pinterest would work well I'd think - post pictures of interesting bansai trees, pretty wedding cakes or a fancy birdhouse hanging on a nice patio.

Once they get to one of your sites - oh boy - if you're planning on going down in the subway and having people toss money in your hat while you play the saxophone you really should have a saxophone ...
There's nothing on any of these sites to make you stay even if you stumble on to one of them.
On the bonsai site all of the 'recent post' links are broken, so the only thing I can do there is buy a plant. Why would I do that? Answer that question and you'll have a good site.

On the cake decorating site, oddly enough I thought I'd find pictures of decorated cakes. No dice. Nothing but long, long, long text articles about cake decorating. It was like going to GirlsInBikinis com and finding written descriptions.
Others have mentioned your writing ability, but if anyone actually looked at the articles they'd see that you didn't write any of them, all of the articles are from an article site. The stuff they use for dunnage on Web 2.0 sites for link bait. Plugging the first line of the first article into Google search returns 148,000 hits. Also 2 years and 15 posts? So a visitor would only have to return every two months or so to see what new articles you've added from articlebase? Not particularly good for return traffic.
Why would someone read this on your site? Also, why would anyone buy one of the books on the sidebars? I didn't even really feel compelled to look at the titles, they're mostly just visual clutter.
Maybe you could review one of these books and kill two birds with one stone - some original content and give people a reason to look twice at the books you have for sale.

The birdhouse plan site was so immemorable I can't even remember what I thought about it except that it looked like you were looking at a blank webpage and couldn't figure out what to put on it and just gimmicked it up. Sliding header and a banner, etc. etc. The only thing I remember about it is that there was no reason to remember it.

In short, you're actually going to have to participate in your website, not just collect things and put them in a pile and expect people to notice. Write some articles, make a video or something. Get your video on Youtube, participate in forums - maybe workworking forums for the birdhouses. There's a bazillion cake decorating sites - participate in their forums.
With a digital camera you could easily decorate a cake, make a slide show of it with movie maker and plug your site on Youtube, posting the photos on Pinterest, Flickr, etc.

They're not gonna come to your site to buy bonsai trees - there's 765,000 people ahead of you. Give them some other reason to some to your site and while they're there ...
Same with the other sites - give them something unique - at least write an original article or two.
I'm far from a web developer, these are just the observations from of a visitor point of view.

    Bon chance.

Hi, I think that there is a few things to think about when wanting to rank it with SEO. Number 1 and most importantly is the time factor. It takes time to rank on the search engines especially GOOGLE. It took my site about 3 months to rank on the first page of google and the competition was pretty high. I was prolific about using .edu forums to get backlinks to my site. These type of backlinks are high quality authority backlinks. Don't be sad eventually you will get a better ranking. It also depends highly on the age of your domain name. The older your domain name is the more authority Google Gives you. If it has been more than a few months then you need to start focusing on Of Page Factors.

Your site is just a bunch of fluff. And you wonder why you haven't made money? It's not hard to realize when a site has used a program to spin articles. On top of that your niche isn't the best possible way to get monetized.... "Cake Decorating Pro"? that's a niche where people would Google to hire a service, not learn how to become a cake decorator.

It's one thing to be in the right market and expect results, but when you're in the wrong and expect the same then there's really not much advice I can give to you except brutal honesty.

Sorry for being blunt : your website sucks. Just one single "theme" and that's it? And you stick 2 years for it? Even if I found it on a forum signature I'll never be returning again. Don't bother for optimization. Optimize your site first, provide contents, then you can find visitors.

  • How long have you had the websites lol?

Your posts on the cake decorating site date back to 2008 and a lot of the content is copied from other sites, yet the domain was registered in 2009. Are you Autoblogging?

You need to take a step back and rethink your plan

Here are some helpful tips for you :

First of all, you have to do keyword research - You can use Google external tool for that. (Google for 'Google external tool' to get link to this tool)

As far as you are the site owner, you have some ideas about your website. Search for such keyword on the above mentioned tool. Do not forget to tick 'Exact' on left hand side.

Look for a keyword that has 3-4 words on it with at least 1000+ Local searches per month.

Select such keyword and make sure your onsite is perfect for selected keywords.

Start working on link building, to do so, first of all, develop a link building strategy where give more space for contextual link building.

That should give you good ranks like top 10,top 5 on Google and more traffic as well.

In turn, you can earn well. However make sure that you have good things to offer to your visitor (I mean, better to have some good offers in your website for visitors)
