$3000 for Marketing - But for What? PLEASE HELP!

Hey Everyone,

I wanted ya'lls opinion on exactly what I should do for marketing my two sites.

I have a total of $3000 to spend for marketing / advertising. And I also have 2 sites I would like to market for.

PhotoshopMeArtistically.com (a crowdsourced marketplace for photo editing, restoration and manipulation)

and

CrowdDesigns.net (a crowdsourced marketplace for Logos, website design, etc)

Now here is a big question. Should I split the money down the middle and market each one separately with $1500 each, or put the whole $3000 into marketing just one of the sites?

And what marketing / advertising would be best to market these sites? I want to get the maximum bang for my buck.

    I'd suggest testing a few hundred bucks on each and taking it from there.

    do a keyword research and find which niche is less competitive and more promising. Then try to discover what means internet marketing in order to understand what you are going to buy. Give money to services that you don't understand very well is quite risky. You need to have a global vision to ask for specific actions and results.

    Isn't the name "Photoshop" protected by a trademark?!

    Here some questions YOU have to answer first: who are the people most likely to buy my services?

    What would get them interested in my services so that they give me money?

    Then you need to know this:

    Where can I find this people?

    Once you have answered these questions it will be clear where you need to put your money.

    Take that 3k and buy a website that already has established traffic in the niche you want to work with. That could potentially mean "free" targeted traffic for the rest of your websites life. You could develop that website or send some of that traffic (and maybe link juice) to your current websites. This will give you the best bang for your buck.

    3k might not be enough for direct mail and unless you have a list of interested prospects, I would not do it.

    I would imagine ultra targeted Facebook ads might be your best bet.

    I'd try ( not all the money immediately though, just a small part to begin with ) , social media campaigns. They have a lot of info regarding hobbies, age groups, gender etc, so adertising there could be targeted advertising with more promising results.
