Am I missing something with Skype Groups?

Hey Warriors

I've been hearing a few folks talk about the great uses of Skype groups.

The thing is I can't for the life of me figure out how to start one.

I'm assuming this is something you set up from within the Skype application but I don't see anything when I launch it (I'm on a Mac)

Would love to know how I can set it up and if it's possible to use it on a Mac.

Thanks
Ricky

You have to select "chat" found in the top navigation when your skype is on, and then "start public chat" and a box appears which will give you prompts to set it up.

      Hey Jill

I just searched every menu in Skype and haven't found that option. Thanks for your quick response nonetheless

I did find an article on Skype's blog that seems to indicate that Public Chat is only supported on Windows and that it is a now discontinued service.

Anyone else having the same problem can read it here

Looks like us Mac users are left out in the cold again though.
