INTERNET MARKETING

I want to make some videos reviewing services like Netflix. Now If I show snippets of movies will I be breaking copyright laws??

I intended to make videos something like this one (NOT my video) and if you watch this video you will see he shows some brief clips of movies as a means of demonstrating the quality of the service he is reviewing.

I would have it a guess it's not legal.

Do you think it would be legal to use a snippet of a copyrighted song in your video?

That's really the same thing as what you are wanting to do.

go to you tube and type in "full movie" you will get 12.000.000 results....

Now next time you hear google/youtube whining about SOPA/PIPA/ACTA you know the real reason

You can always check some copyright laws, I think there's some short info even on YouTube. My guess (from what I remember) is that you can use small parts of songs/films/etc. if your purpose is to demonstrate something and if you give proper credit, but I don't think you can use them commercially then.
