Paid Traffic : media buy

I am interested in media buy to promote affiliate products , what I am going to do is looking for low revenue adsense sites and buy ad spaces from those website owners.

My understanding is , using this method an internet marketer should never direct the traffic to the affiliate product directly, because the site owners will find out and will choose to promote the affiliate product directly.

I will direct the traffic to my squeeze page with opt-in form , once they registered, they will be taken to a page with the affiliate product offer.

My problem with this approach is after a while, won't the site owner find out my strategy and will want to promote the affiliate products by theirself ?.

How to overcome this issue?.
1) Create my own product

    Go to buysellads.com. They have thousands of blogs that will fit your niches.
    I think this website is safe because so far I don't hear any complaints from advertisers about them.

    I have personally advertised my banner there and got a substantial amount of subscribers. What I did was to divert my traffic to my squeezepage and mrket to them from there onwards.

    Tips: try to create a simple and sort of "ugly" banners. This will "stand out" from the crowd and will get more clicks.

    Never promote an affiliate product with media ads. As mentioned before all it takes is for the originator of the product to identify where your ads are being promoted (an easy thing to do) and compete against you. Good luck, though, it can work for a while.

    Yes build list first, don't promote the affiliate product directly. The conversion will be higher.
