YOULIKEHITS has crushed! What are the alternatives?

Looks like youlike hits has been overwhelmed by traffic. Two days in a row and its still down. They sent a message on facebook saying members will have to open new accounts. In the meantime these are your possible alternatives for getting facebook fans and twitter followers;

1. Fanpagers.net
2. hitslikeyou
3. maxsocials
4. like exchange

If you know any more. add them to the list.

YouLikeHits is back up and members did not need to create new accounts, they were able to restore their database. If fake Facebook likes is your goal might as well go with the one that has the most members (=more likes).

I've never been a fan of any of these types of sites personally. Most are fake profiles and I'm more into quality over quantity. Always seemed like alot of work for little results.

Aside from getting followers, is anyone making money by using these types of sites? I'd be curious to know.

Having 10,000 fans looks good but if they aren't making you money what's the point?

Some people believe those likes will convert into sales, which is very unlikely because you're right- it's mostly fake accounts.

Others use it to raise social proof. Think of it like this, if you go to a Facebook fan page and it has 5 likes you probably won't trust it that much. There has to be a reason only 5 people like it right? So it's harder to gain real followers when your numbers are low.

In contrast if you go to a Facebook page and it has 10,000 likes, you're going to think "if all these other people liked the page it must be well-known and credible, and there must be a good reason they liked it."

Basically that's what social proof is.

So if you run a Facebook ad campaign and your goal is to get likes to your Facebook fan page, it might be a good idea to raise your number of likes first. That way you should have better conversions.

Anyways that's the theory behind it. I haven't tested it so I don't know if it really affects conversions or not. But hope that helps you understand it a little better.

Yeah, I see your point Dan, it does make sense, not sure how much work is involved though. Do these sites pretty much run on autopilot? Id rather spend 20 bucks on fiverr and get them that way if the other way is time consuming. Either way the quality isn't going to be great but you can get decent numbers without doing alot of work for them.

Not sure about all of those sites but the one's I've looked at sell credits. So you can earn the credits by manually liking other pages or just pay for them. If you pay for them it's pretty much autopilot. I've seen better prices on Fiverr though, I think some people just sit there liking pages all day and then use those credits to sell the services on Fiverr.

If you or anyone else is thinking about purchasing them I'd look at YouLikeHits or other sites listed above, Fiverr, and the Warriors for Hire section and see who's offering the best deal.

I don't think people actually sit and like pages. They use bots/scripts that automates the process for them. I use to use youlikehits for my music pages, but I started to think, if I just paid for an account that used a bot, how many other bots are on here? So I figured the whole idea is not effective. So I stopped. 1 real visitor beats 10,000 fake ones.

What's the point of fake Likes? Does it make you feel like you have lots of friends? There is absolutely no point in having fake likes... Unless you want to brag about all the people who (don't) like you.

All that time and effort could be better spent actually making money and if you're selling those accounts with all the "fake" likes shame on you!

social proof is a powerful thing if you know how to use it.

if I need any likes or social signal, I get it from fiverr or mturk because if I add my site to this kind site than Google adsense will disable my adsense account, so I stay away from it..

Looking for an alternative to Add Me Fast. First Twiends, then You Like Hits, then Add Me Fast. What is Facebook's problem? They make it really hard to get likes as compared to every other social media site. Anyone got a site like Add Me Fast to get likes quickly? It's not working properly today.

Yeah I figured that the "fake it till ya make it approach."

Funny thing though is if potential customers are smart enough to realised that your 40K likes are not interacting with your page post's then something stinks. Doesn't matter how many fake likes you buy it won't increase engagement. It might even affect your edgerank.

This is a great point. There are plenty of people who would simply be impressed by a high count and not even think about whether its bot-generated or fake accounts or whatever, as they have no clue that such things are even possible.

Have you tried Addmefast? That one has been the most reliable to me since it drives a lot of traffic and has hundreds of thousands of users.

Seems to me that these fake likes are no more than fake testimonials. Why stop with the fake likes? Go over to fiveer and buy a hundred dollars worth of fake testimonials. I mean if it doesn't matter to you how you deceive why not use the testimonials as it would seem to me they would be more credible?

It sometimes amazes me what people will put on a high traffic public forum.

  • My friend really likes YouLikeHits, and almost flipped (on me) when this happens. I had to decided whether to slap him silly and keep letting him do cartwheels in the hallway.
YouLikeHits has been the only site that I've thought about investigating.
    They update very consistently.
