Using eBay, PayPal, GetResponse, and Kunaki All Together

I've been wondering if this would work... If you use eBay with your PayPal account to take payments, Kunaki for fulfillment on autopilot, and add buyers to your GetResponse list on autopilot.

It seems like this would be easy to set up. I've never sold anything on eBay before and have never used Kunaki. So, what I want to know is... Is this possible?

      Rock on! Thanks

Now all I guess I have to do is find a way to integrate my GetResponse account with eBay.

I think that would be something worth testing that's for sure. If you're using automation software to hook up to Kinaki then the orders will be sent without you having to lift a finger.

A little hint as well... When you design the insert card most people put their table of contents to their DVD on it but I create a whole new design and make them a Special Offer on that piece. I also include customer support information at the bottom.

      Great idea. Thanks.

That's one of the reasons why I want to integrate with GetResponse too because when they order, they'll get an e-mail that addresses both of those things.

The day 0 e-mail will say something like...

      Thanks for your order!

If you have any questions about your order, then feel free to reply to this e-mail.

        Hey Jason,

        Here's another idea I had...

After they make their purchase for the physical DVD you can offer them a low-cost membership. Something like:

"Hi Mr. Customer, thank you for your order. While you're waiting for your Amazing Blow Up Doll Secrets DVD which will be delivered right to your door in just a few short days, how about getting a jump on things and become a part of our Exclusive Community for just $4.95 per month!

Here's what you'll get access to RIGHT NOW!"

Play off the fact that people want INSTANT gratification and for the low price involved they may be willing to join the community.

Then you can again mention about the community inside the DVD insert... Something to the effect of

"Just A Reminder that our community offers XYZ on top of this amazing informaiton and for $4.95 per month you simply can't go wrong. We're a fantastic community with lots to share!"
That way by the time they see that on the DVD that is their second exposure to that particular offer!

          Nice one Mike.

That's a GREAT idea to build paid subscriptions.

I have no idea how much daily sales volume to expect from testing this.

I have no doubt it'll all "work," but no idea whether I'll make 1, 10, or 100 sales per day doing this.

Nanacast does not have an API that works with eBay. So, how does eBay communication with Nanacast in your example?

By the way... Caliban chimed in with a useful bit of info on the YouTube comments:

FYI: according to Marsha Collier, author of several books about eBay in the "for Dummies" series (and total hottie), YES - you CAN send AdWords traffic to an eBay auction.
Nice. Add that to Erik's suggestion about Facebook CPM ads.

Love to see how you guys find solutions to this. As an eBay seller, I have never found a way to get poeple onto autoresponder on auto-pilot or get people off eBay to buy from my site.

Main issue I can see that how would you connect eBay auction to Nanacast because when someone buys on eBay, the payment must go through eBay shopping cart. You can not take buyer off eBay listing to other site for order processing or anything like that. Also you can not post auction with "buy it from your site". This is against TOS of eBay.

You guys may be able to find a solution and I would love to try.

It's called Nanacast. Integrates with Kunaki, integrates with GetResponse. 30 day free trial, then $97 - $247 a month.

Plus, they've got all kinds of new features on the way, and their favicon doesn't look like a boner anymore.

That's something I really didn't cover well in my video.

I think I said to "pay via Paypal" while talking about Nanacast, and I should have said that BEFORE getting to Nanacast.

I'm pretty sure sending the eBay/Paypal transaction data out to Nanacast's API (or whatever cart you're using) after the payment is complete should be pretty straightforward.

Think of how a Paypal IPN sends transaction data out to Rapid Action Profits or how JVZoo/WarriorPlus send IPN data to Digital Access Pass.

The details of the transaction are passed on to the cart after the transaction is complete - creating a new user and triggering all the automated functions (fires off order to Kunaki, subs buyer to GR list, etc).

Maybe we can get Josh Anderson of Nanacast to pick up a Google Alert with his name in it and comment here on how to best incorporate eBay auctions with Nanacast.

This thread gives me hope that the original spirit of this forum isn't dead - just frequently drowned out with ****ty signal to noise ratio.

        Best,

        Brian

Theres a product on the market called Disc Buddy, I think that can do all that you are talking about.. It's a standalone script you have installed on your server, you only pay once.

    I believe it's $97

Get response has an API so I believe with some simple php coding you should be able to get buyers onto a list.

I do this in my sales process with Awebers API, I'm not the coder in my business but I believe we've set Paypal to pass the data after the sale and the api picks it up and they are on the list. They just need to confirm the subscription and you are good to go.

        Thanks Jim.

How do the 'mechanics' of the integration work with eBay, Nanacast and then Kunaki.

When the order is placed in eBay, is that order data sent to Get Response and then Get Response sends the data to Nanacast THEN the data is sent to Kunaki?

        Thanks.

    A WORD impossible says I M POSSIBLE.

So there is a solution of all problems but we have to just search it, either for long time searching or a short time, but when many people discuss about one topic, automatically many ways we get to solve a problem with many solutions.

Hey Guys - so ebay, paypal (using Gurubot pro) and Kunaki together - all very doable...

My understanding of Gurubot is that it works with 1shopping cart rather than GetResponse - I found adding a slip inside the dvd case with an incentive for the customer to come sign up for 'updates' etc works wonders but you also get the email as part of the ebay transaction.

I heard disc buddy had some issues - you can search through WF and I think you'll hear similar. Gurubot has good reviews overall and I've been using it for a while. Also consider getting your products into Amazon Advantage - i found that channel to be even better than ebay because its not bargain hunters so the average price is much better. Also brand enhancing to be in Amazon Advantage with a physical product.

Recommend you consider a good cover action pro type product shot to stand out from all the other guys on ebay and Amazon.

    Cheers
